A perfectly balanced IPA with a faint spiciness and light fruit. The surprisingly strong malty/nutty backbone will leave you wanting another.

(4) Heavy hops. This is a good beer. There should be a better balance of flavours and malt and hops. A bit more work and this would be a great IPA.

Draft to taster at Odd Side. Looks solid; a mostly transparent golden orange with foamy off-white head. Smells solid too; hoppy and malty. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Sample at Odd Side on 3/29/13. Clear gold pour with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, pine and some tropical fruit. Malty and oniony flavor with a bitter and grassy hop finish.

odd side ale house in grand haven - on tap. the best of the beers I tried - terrific hops and grapefruit notes. Incredibly easy to drink. Would be curious of it’s ABV

On tap at Odd Side this past weekend. Served in a pint glass. Pours a moderate amber color with a good, thick off-white head and a nice bit of lacing as it moves down the glass. The nose hits first with some nice earthy hops as well as light caramel and bread-crust notes. Behind that is some mild citrus character. Flavor is balanced between malt and hops, with the latter being comprised mostly of earthy and herbal characteristics with the addition of some citrus. Light-medium body and good carbonation; slightly-dry finish. Good brew worth trying.
