3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at Odd Side on 3/29/13. Pours clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma of grape and malt. Malty flavor with grape accents before a semi-tart finish. Odd indeed, for a nut brown.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at odd side ales. Reddish brown with small beige head. Nice roasted nuts, caramel, toast and oats. Flavor of earth, oat, nuts, and light sugar. Nice. But again, thin thin thin. Similar to a dunkle

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft sample. Poured hazy dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy toasted malt and smal hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew that I would recommend to a freind.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Odd Side brewpub. Hazy brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma is nutty and roasted with maple, hazelnut and spices. Body is a tad thin with nuts, mild brown sugar, light spices and hazelnuts. Decent enough.
