3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle: Slightly hazed copper-orange gradient body with a foamy & cloudy eggshell head with good retention, leaving a nice sheet of lacing behind. Aroma is very nice; lots of floral hops opening up with a mild perfume & grapefruit zest essence. I get some big tropical fruit notes with time, too, like passion fruit & even a hint of peach. Backdrop of some cookie dough malt sweetness. The taste, unfortunately, isn’t as captivating as the aroma. Some herbaceous, semi-floral hops out of the gate, followed by lightly sweet, candied grapefruit... Hops quickly turn very bitter; pungent pine, brash hop oils, a bitterness that nearly scrapes the tongue dry. A hint of buttered bread-like malt in the finish, getting mild hints of brine as well? Quite abrasive, & missing the lovely tropical notes from the nose. Alcohol is hidden well... but I wish the taste followed the aroma more closely, & this would be a real winner. Still good, though.

12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a clear dark amber with a finger of thin white foam. Moderate lacing. Nose is peaches and grapefruit with some biscuit malt. Taste follows the nose. Juicy tropical fruit and dry crackery malt with low bitterness. Really tasty and highly drinkable. Very solid beer!

12 oz bottle from tneumann. Pours an orangish amber with a small, off white head. Aroma of citrus and pine hops, medium citrus peel, resin notes. Flavor is medium bitterness with medium malt sweetness. Medium bodied, dry, with a fair amount of bitterness in the finish. Finish lingers. This is quite nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle crushed with Honkeybra. Pours clear amber with a white head. Pretty fruity nose, lots of linalool, and a bit of diacety. Light, hoppy, bit of butter in the flavor as well. Easy drinking. Bit flawed, but not bad overall.

Gold pour, white head. Malt forward IPA. Tasty, but I am thrown by IPAs that are so malty up front. I got some mango, pineapple, lychee and good hop notes mixed around. So its too malty but it tastes good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 18/20
A very fresh hop aroma. A bitterness that hits upfront. Hop flavors really stay around for a while. Slight caramel feel in the back that somewhat takes away from the drinkability. Overall good stuff.
