Bottle to glass. Thanks BJ! Pours a deep brown to black color with little to no head. Flavor is mint chocolate chip ice cream with a touch of coffee. Flavor is mildly sweet, roasted malts, bitter mint. A bit thin in body, but solid flavor. Enjoyable

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours near black. Small dark brown head. Aroma of mint. Definitely agree that is reminds me of an Andes mint. Taste is like chocolate milk. Creamy mouth feel. Nicely done. Mint works well without being overpowering. Continue to be impressed with each beer I try from Odd Side.

Very good stout. Great chocolate and mint aroma, as well as taste. Palate is a little weak for the style. Will get again.

Tap: Pitch black with a frothy & creamy espresso colored head that sinks down to a fine skin in moments. Aroma of York Peppermint Patty. Rounds of dark fudgy chocolate & mild peppermint roll across the nostrils, softened by a nice undercut of roasted malts. Mint comes off as semisweet & candy-like, rather than harsh & medicinal. Not much coffee on the nose, however coffee beans are the first thing I taste when I take a sip. Heavy coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, sweet mint. Really nice balance. Body is a little thinner than I’d like. Nice stout overall, though. I like how the mint never traverses into menthol territory.

Smells like an Andes mint, looks great, tastes the same as the smell with hints of coffee and roast. Great beer. I have never had an odd side brew before, but if this is any indication, I will be trying them much more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to half-pint glass. Looks good; a slightly translucent very dark cola with fizzy beige lacing. Smells of dark malt, chocolate, and coffee. Tastes like it smells with a nice, pleasant mint presence. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied. Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a bottle into a tasting snifter. Pours black with only traces of a brown head around the sides. Nose is a burst of chocolate, mint, and espresso. Body is medium oily, well balanced with slightly sweet finish, mint and coco flavors linger on the tongue. Very little carbonation. Mint is a bit too strong for me here, but is well done.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. Pours black with a light tan head. Coffee aroma building into sweet chocolate syrup, then mint. Rather sweet milk chocolate mint flavor, some cocoa bitterness and roast coffee. A bit like chocolate milk. Tasty, but a little weird.

Bottle from Champane Cellars. Great minty smell, only a minute of coffee roasting chocolate. Looks good. Not as good tasting however, mouthful under average.
