Inspired by Mexican hot chocolate, this smooth stout will keep you coming back for more! It is carefully blended with Dutch chocolate coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, and habaneros which will leave you with the perfect balance of chocolate and heat.

Caramel, Spicey, If you love stouts this is among the Finest. The kick is what makes this abit different from many Stouts. The coffee taste makes this a go to. One of my favorite Stouts. This is a break away from the usual Stout kick and I highly recommend this, The habanero is a nice touch.

Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer chocolate brown with a effervescent mocha head. Aromas of roasted malt chocolate and notes of spice. Taste is decent hint of spice not much alcohol or bourbon.

12oz bottle from trade. Thanks, Jason! Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, coffee, a touch of cinnamon. Flavor is dark chocolate, coffee, a hint of chili pepper. The heat builds as you drink, nice.

bottle - Pours near black and smells of roast malt, coffee, and peppers. It has a dark roasted, sweet malt flavor backed up chocolate and coffee notes and yes, obvious spicy heat. I didnít find the heat overwhelming though. The other flavors are strong enough to compete with it and while the finish is spicy, the medium to full body eases the heat enough to make it enjoyable.

Bottle. Black with medium tan head. Aroma is coffee with earthy and cinnamon undertones. Medium-heavy body and moderate carb. Taste is coffee and dark chocolate, with habanero burn in the back of the throat all the way down the esophagus. Slight cinnamon aftertaste. Reminds me of doing "hot shots" in college. Hard to pick up much else besides habaneros. Canít say itís that enjoyable. Odd Side Ales definitely put the "odd" in this one.

Poured out the standard black with a beige head. Small amount of light penetrates around the rim. Nose is heavy spice and lots of cinnamon. Medium body with more spice and the habaneros are definitely a big player in the finish. As always I like a thicker bodied stout but I liked it. One drawback IMO would have been for the habaneros to be more subdued, otherwise decent.

Review is of a beer bottled 06/10/15 Pours a 1/4 inch dark chocolate head that dissipated quickly, body was pitch black. Lacing and head retention were below average. Smell is somewhat vegetal, lots of chili pepper. Coffee is very light, cinnamon and nutmeg are more apparent. Chocolate and caramel malt round out the aromas, hops and alcohol are almost non existent. Taste is very flat, vegetal, spicy, soy sauce. Coffee was very faint, cinnamon and heat dominate the palate. There were no hops or alcohol taste. Mouthfeel is very oily but thin at the same time. No head made things worse, heat tingled the roof of my mouth. Carbonation levels were alright. Overall this was one of the worst beers Iíve had in awhile, missed the mark in all areas of taste. Almost had to drain pour this one but I refuse to waste beer.
