A ridiculous rampage of ruthless rowdy hops in a rebellious rusty red ale.

Bottle from trade, thanks umich03jm! Pours a deep mahoghany red with a big clingy coffee icecream head. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, toffee and pine. Flavor follows, with the addition of brown bread. Heavy pine resin bitterness to finish.

Deep ruby/amber pour with healthy inch of reddish brown hued head. Juicy pungent hop aroma: grapefruit, pollen, lavender, pine and or citrus rind, definite rind. Marked down since it’s somewhat light. Average carbonation, mouthfeel tingly but thin, dry finish. Taste of grainy pungent rye, citrus rind, nutty malts, pine hops as well. Well done hoppy IPA.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy dark red with white head, aroma brought grapefruit, pine, grass, some nice orange, tropical fruit notes into some caramel, toffee, nice. Taste is a mix of spice, grass, caramel, toffee into nice fruit, orange, grapefruit, some yeasty notes, finishing bitter, dry. Pretty nicely done.

Pours a dark red...almost brown until you hold it up to the light. The head has an almond color and soapy look. The taste is a red upfront, but not sweet...maybe before the sweet kicks in the hops covers it. The mouthfeel at the end is not pleasing. It coats the mouth but feels soapy again. This is probably a beer I won’t purchase again.

Bottle, dark reddish amber with beige head. Strong malty pine aroma. Taste is piney, bitter hops with big malt profile. Pretty tasty stuff.

12oz bottle, purchased from Woodstock Wine & Cheese in Michigan. Dark red color. Bigger light khaki head. Leaves good, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter kind of creamy carbonation. Light slick texture. Caramel malt, red tropical fruity hop. Lightly spicy hop, sort of toasty spicy malt, kind of earthy hop. Little chocolate in the finish. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet taste. Solid red IPA.

Bottle from Champanes, this ale had a hazy brown-red pour that was on the dark side and presented a thick (three finger) light tan head that receded a bit and left a sticky ring with some lacing, it left nice spots and partial rings of lacing, the bottom of the bottle had a big ring of sediment with about half of the bottom covered with a thick wedge of sediment, the aromas were grapefruit and lemon citrus hops with dark toasted malt, faint caramel and chocolate, some earth notes in the background, dark bread, some rye spice and malt sweetness, the nose was similar to a brown ale with lots of hops and rye spice, it had citrus hop flavors with toasted dark malt and toasted bread, lemon and grapefruit, the finish had a good citrus hop bitterness that lingered a bit, toasted malt and light citrus fruit trailed afterwards, the mouth feel was light and creamy, it had average carbonation, I liked the mix of toasted dark malt, hops and rye, a nice drink.

Pours a surprisingly dark dark red with a white dimmed head. A nice fruity hopped red aroma. Almost copper like but in a good way. At first sip I notice the great feel like it was brewed with the freshest of water. A piney hopped feel as it goes down and turns a little more creamy as it settles on the mouthfeel. The red amber styling comes out towards the end and the flavors become prominent in the after taste on the tongue. Pretty good.

Pours a cloudy rust, good carbonation and thin foam head. Strong pine hops aroma with some citrus/sweeter floral. Very strong and complex but balanced hops taste throughout with a slight caramel finish. Fairly clean mouthfeel with a lot of hops bitterness in the aftertaste.
