COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A ridiculous rampage of ruthless rowdy hops in a rebellious rusty red ale.

Deep ruby red pour with a thin head. Aroma of rye and grass. Full mouth. Taste is big time rye. Grassy earthy bitterness. Rye is a little overdone and creates a pretty strong flavor. Big time bitterness. A little too bitter for my liking.

More rye than ipa at this point. Thanks for holding Champane. Still good drinkability. Lots of dark and foam.

Bottle. Pours a fairly deep brownish red with a large foamy head and aromas of spruce and grain dust. Flavor has a very nice spruce edge to it across the palate, but the malt seems to wash out in the middle... itís solid up front and across the finish, but in the middle it just gets watery. That said, itís a darn fine beer, especially for a lower ABV one.

chucklemation (682) - Pontiac, Michigan, USA - OCT 27, 2014
Pours a dark red with a white foam head. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit hops and floral notes. Flavor is light tropical fruit with moderate bitterness and caramel. Has a unique look for an IPA and tastes great.

Red pour thin white head. Spicy hops sticks and leaves. Nice citrus bite sweet malt body. Light body moderate carbonation.

This poured a reddish color with a white head. Aroma was of tropical hops, toast and cartel. Flavor bright hops upfront but unfortunately followed by biscuit cartel malt. Descent.

12 oz bottle. Pours deep amber (to the point of looking opaque in indirect light) with a light tan head. Toasty grain aroma with some citrus. Toasted flavor and light citrus, herbal hoppiness again. On the lighter side, and not nearly enough hoppiness for a take on an IPA. A pretty nice amber ale, though.

Bottle from trade, thanks umich03jm! Pours a deep mahoghany red with a big clingy coffee icecream head. Aroma is orange, grapefruit, toffee and pine. Flavor follows, with the addition of brown bread. Heavy pine resin bitterness to finish.

Deep ruby/amber pour with healthy inch of reddish brown hued head. Juicy pungent hop aroma: grapefruit, pollen, lavender, pine and or citrus rind, definite rind. Marked down since itís somewhat light. Average carbonation, mouthfeel tingly but thin, dry finish. Taste of grainy pungent rye, citrus rind, nutty malts, pine hops as well. Well done hoppy IPA.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, hazy dark red with white head, aroma brought grapefruit, pine, grass, some nice orange, tropical fruit notes into some caramel, toffee, nice. Taste is a mix of spice, grass, caramel, toffee into nice fruit, orange, grapefruit, some yeasty notes, finishing bitter, dry. Pretty nicely done.
