Bottle thanks to blowofftube. pours a fairly clear light orange color with minimal head. nose is slightly catty. not much malt or yeast by product in the whiffer. taste is kinda flat with a general bitterness and grassiness. not much of the piney citrus I was expecting but not a bad beer.

12 oz. bottle supplied by WillForRunBeer. Many thanks! To short-stemmed, it pours a clear light orange with which a sudsy, whitish head 1 finger in length stood. Aromas of peas, hops, sunflower seeds, wet dog, poppies, and American yeast, Tastes the same with the addition of minced garlic, basement, and pale malt by swallow.

Bottle from trade wirh umich03jm, thanks Jason! Pours brownish gold with a clingy pure white head. Aroma is grass and mango. Pale malt backbone with a fair amount of grassy hop bitterness.

Crystal clear coloured golden body with a thin, one centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of bright herbal and slightly sweet hops with a light hay and yeast note and some smells of honey and flowers. Light-bodied; Assertive floral and grassy note of hops with a good bitterness and a light finish showing mostly hops and quite a bit of grass, hay and yeast. Aftertaste is mild and pleasing with the hop flavours the strongest and no funky flavours or pungent notes, just the simcoe flavour of hops and a lot of dry, herbal notes. Overall, a nice and well received beer that shows exactly what you want from a session-style beer, a lot of flavour with no heaviness and assertive complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Merchantís in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-March-2014.

Light golden orange in color with a bright white head. Earthy hop scent. Taste is earthy, grassy and highly bitter. Great session ale.

12 oz bottle. (Sicilianoís) Grand Rapids, MI.
Cloudy yellow golden colour with a tiny white head. Mild fruity and citrusy hoppy aroma. The flavour is grapefruit and fruity hops. Thin malty body. Very sessionable IPA. Very light and a bit thin.

12oz Bottle. Thanks so much, Sean! Juicy-juice pine hop aroma. Creamy and orange-like. Dry, clean presentation up front, with a slight bubblegum and plastic American hop overdose. The backend is much more satisfactory with a quenching bitter edge thatís reminiscent of pine sap and wet forests. The overall dryness and general hop bristling intensity are certainly appreciated. Very decent for a Session IPA and certainly one of the more hop intense of the Session IPAs Iíve had.

This beer pours from bottle with rather small head, very hazy, and is quite yellow. The taste is super grapefruit flavor. Seriously, it is like someone squeezed grapefruit into the beer just before serving it. If you like beer and you like grapefruit, this may be your ideal brew. Odd Side Ale Citra Pale Ale is awesome. This, so so to me, but that is largely a personal thing. It seems to be a quality beer.

My second Odd Side brew. A pretty decent beer. You can for sure have a few of these in a row. Wouldnít mind getting more.
