Poured clear golden color with a large frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate simcoe hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with a moderate bittersweet finish of medium duration. This is a solid beer.

Bottled on 5/12/13 and drank on 5/21/13. Fresh! Pine and herbal aroma and taste. Very bitter finish! Label says it is a "session IPA" ---but no mention of ABV on either bottle or website.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RespertFTW (115) - - MAY 20, 2013
Bottle. Light gold color with medium head. Pine aroma. Mainly hop flavor with some malt. Seemed a little thin and watery at the finish. Solid beer. Could use a little more bite in the finish.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bytemesis (1412) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Bottle in trade. I am really trying to figure out what people DONT like about this beer! Pours cloudy yellow amber with a lot of floates and a medium off-white head that leaves some lacing. OK, not a great start. Aroma is classic simcoe - nice grapefruit and pine aromas bursting from the glass. Flavor follows, perhaps a bit watered down given that this is a session beer, but otherwise nice. Body is light, not surprising. I could drink a few of these on a hot afternoon and be quite happy about it.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Mittenator (453) - Michigan, USA - MAY 15, 2013
Bottle. Gold with some particulate and a medium beige head. Strong simcoe and piney aromas. Hops and a little malt. A surprising amount of flavor for a session although the finish is pretty watery.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ostomo517 (57) - Norton Shores, Michigan, USA - MAY 14, 2013
Pours golden with some hop matter and such, but it is unfiltered. Aroma is nice Simcoe but could definately use a boost. Palate is nice malty start but nicely layered Simcoe slowly creeping to a peak of good bitterness. A great session beer!
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 gonzosauce (133) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - FEB 26, 2013
A very good aroma, even for a Simcoe, though it is reserved. This one is light - far more hops in the aroma than in the flavor or palate. In all, underwhelming.

Sampled from the tap at the 15th annual MBGSF. Pours a near clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is full of pine notes with a good amount of underlying grass and a sweet grain and hay backbone. Flavor begins with a light grassy note but quickly grows in intensity to a bitter pine note with only a slight grain backbone.

On tap at Odd Side Brewpub. Golden yellow with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma of pine, resin, grapefruit and sweet malt. Taste of pine, resin, citrus, over-roasted malt and finishes up a hair dry with moderate bitterness.
