From notes. On tap at Odd Side on March 21. The pour is jet black with a thin ring of khaki head and decent lacing down the glass. The aroma carries a good bitter note with a nice roasty chocolate on the back end. The flavor is much of the same. It’s a little more dominated on the bitter side. The light roast and chocolate move in half way through, and carry on. The mouth feel is solidly thick and creamy, with a good carbonation and a nice, lingeringly bitter aftertaste.

On tap. Aroma has notes of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and citrus hops. Black hue with a small off-white head. Flavor is very sweet and bitter. Palate is full bodied and oily soft. Overall a pretty average Impy.

Draft. The pour is black with a think brown lace. The aroma is all malt. The taste is a nice robust stout. Spot on for the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

esjaygee (3903) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 12, 2013
On tap at Odd Side. Dark brown with a thin brown crown. Aroma is slightly off with chocolate, dark roasted malts and light coffee. Taste of roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel and a chocolaty finish.

MrBunn (2460) - The Wet Side of a Dry Town, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2013
On tap at Odd Side. Deep brown body with little head and lovely chocolate and coffee aromas. Damn good. Heavy chocolate and coffee on the palate. Nicely balanced and just all around wonderful.
