12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/8/2015. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big watermelon, strawberry, lemon, pear, apple, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity and balance of watermelon, fruity/earthy yeast, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big watermelon, strawberry, lemon, pear, apple, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of watermelon, strawberry, lemon, pear, apple, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and robustness of watermelon, fruity/earthy yeast, and bready malt flavors; with a great yeast/malt/fruit balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4%. Overall this is a damn nice fruited wheat ale. All around great balance and robustness of watermelon, fruity/earthy yeast, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and very flavorful to drink for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Poured a semi hazy with a light orange. Aroma was of yeasty grain, light watermelon, and oxidation. Flavor was weird sweetness and bitter, watermelon is only moderate. Too sweet

Watermelon flavors seem artificial, like a jolly rancher. Notes of light grains and faint caramel. Crisp and light.

12oz bottle, from the Woodstock Wine & Cheese. Enjoyed from a plastic cup, on Devilís Lake. Split with Celia M. Thin off-white head visible. Great watermelon flavor... Somewhere between authentic watermelon and syrupy artificial, more on the authentic side, though, I think. I prefer it to the Hell or High, I think because itís not as sweet, from what I remember. Nice light to moderate bitter balance, and moderate sweet. Nice mild dry finish. Some herbal sort of bitter peel-type watermelon flavor. Sweet, but not artificially so... Seems like the sweet comes more the malt. Bit of bready sweet malt too, but itís pleasant. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Mild slick. Nice bit of creme to it. Tasty. Good watermelon wheat, definitely above average for the style (out of the 5-6 or so that Iíve tried so far)

bottle. lightly hazy golden with one finger head. watermelon in a beer is not often a successful combination from the few that iíve had in the past. watermelon just doesnít have enough distinct flavor in most cases. very light aroma. watermelon flavor actually comes through the mild wheat base pretty well. finishes pretty dry. decent, light on flavor, but seems pretty refreshing.

Bottle. Gold pour with a small white head that fades to a film. Aroma is wheat, hay, and a faint hint of watermelon. Slightly more watermelon in the taste itís mostly just wheat. Very easy to drink but not really much going on here.

Light golden pour, aroma of sweat fruits and barley, great for a summer day indeed....

Surprised that the watermelon was evident in both the aroma and taste. It is such a bland fruit. Cloudy golden color. Leans sweet.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an orangish color with a medium white head. Aroma of fresh watermelon. Flavor follow suit, delicious fresh cut watermelon. Mild wheat beer presence. Finishes with fresh watermelon notes. Nice.

Tap: Hazy orange, mild copper-ish tints. Translucent, topped with a neat, white head. Foamy, retained well at a few millimeters in height. Aroma is very light. Almost no smell initially. Faint grassiness, soft wheat, gummy notes, a mild vegetal smell. Not really getting watermelon. Just a weird vegetal small. Way too quiet, though. Flavor isnít much more explosive. Very vague. Mild wheat, musty hops, citrus zest. Really not getting watermelon, still. Grain, maybe. Light bodied. Light everything. Not at all offensive, just extremely vapid & really not much going on at all. Boring, nothing happening.
