750 ml corked and caged bottle shared by Doodler (thanks Scott!) poured a hazy amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, leather, barnyard funk, pear and citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, citrus, wood, fruittiness and light barnyard with a smooth dry lingering carmel finish.

Hmm you buy a beer called "Ikast" beer, it’s so obviously the same as "Odder" beer and not enough of it is from "Klosterbryggeriget" that is located in "Skanderborg" , but the beer is brewed on "FYN" by Ørbæk. Spicy and yeast flavor. Much carbon dioxide. Incredibly spicy (uharminisk taste) and thin.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours a deep hazy orange body with a big creamy off-white head. Very nice. Aroma is clove, citric peel, caramel, grass and hints of parsley. Taste is sweet bubble-gum like herbal tones, Belgian ale yeast, citric peel, hints of herbs, dark berries and clove. Slightly parching mouthfeel, full body. A peculiar brew, but not bad.

Tasting at Papsø’s, corked bottle
Cloudy red-amber color, with medium sized head. The aroma is yeasty, woody, peppery. Dryish mouthfeel, with spicy, peppery caramel flavor, a light vegetables feeling, ordinary bitterness. Peculiar, but not bad.

3rd December 2011
ChrisOs Early December Tasting. Hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Light palate, a little soft and semi dry. Odd juxtaposition of tangy orange grapefruit and bubblegum. Tiny bit sour. A little wheaty malt in the finish. Not unpleasant but somewhat odd.
