Should be drunk hella cold. Bottle to glass. Not crazy about the taste but not nearly enough hops either. Good for a long night of drinking. Y

Dobre z ladna piana ale w stylu szkockim. Z lekkim rubinowym odcieniem. Piwo jest glebokie tresciwe no i wytrawne. Chmiel zaznaczony dosc znaczaco. Jak to po amerykansku zreszta.

Head held down glass, good aroma with hints of nutty caramel. Aftertaste slightly bitter. Nothing too exciting with taste and found it boring towards end. Not odell best

This one was fairly dark. Thick head. A good and satisfying brew. It’s pretty cool to because I read that Odells brews all their stuff traditionally, abiding by the purity laws.

A - Pours a hazy dark amber with a 1.5 inch off-white head. The tight bubbled head sinks and forms a high collar.
S - Toasted grain, biscuty malt, acidic berries, toffee.
T - Toffe malt, roasted grain, berry sweetness, mint, herbal/citrus hops. Starts sweet and finishes dry.
M - Soft and creamy, moderate carbonation.
A solid scottish ale. Nice acidity, good malt, and a good finish from the hops.

Poured from a bottle into pint glass. Pours copper red with an average sized off-white frothy head. Head is fairly long lasting with good lacing. Beer is cloudy with just a bit of small particles. Nice balanced smell with both moderate bready malt smell and moderate grassy/citrusy hoppy smell. Initial taste is light sweet citrus that finishes moderately bitter. Finish is short; medium-bodied with a creamy/syrupy feel.

Ruby red pour wth a small head and low carbonation. Rich malty aroma with some dried prunes & berries and a few nuts. I was looking for a Scotch ale and this fit the bill, maybe not quite as full in taste and body as it could be. Decent.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Caytinator (578) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - APR 2, 2013
Pint on tap. Dark copper color, medium-light carbonation, big bubbly head, becomes rocky, laces well. It’s served cold, thank god. Taste is slightly sweet at the beginning and a little bitter at the end. Gentle, toasty, and a little malty. Great beer for having a very light taste.
