3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355ml bottle from Beermoth. Pours a warm mahogany brown, not much aroma but quite an interesting taste.. not particularly hop heavy but with a nice malty element and a little heather sweetness on the finish. Very nice indeed.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma: light caramel and brad malts. Appearance: dark brown, small white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: light bitters continue, average-long dry finish. Overall: nice Scotch Ale, but both aroma and palate could be more pronounced. Bottle at The Fox, Haggerston.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Nose has a touch of perfume, roast, yeast, and smoke... nice. Pours a medium amber-red with some haze and a very smooth off-white head. Flavor is definitely Scottish ale -- the sweet spot where smoky toffee caramel and drier amber ale meet. There’s even a touch of peatiness. Finish is long, rich, and silky. New fave.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at WOB. Welcome to Texas Odell! Pours a clear reddish orange color with a tall foamy beige head. Sweet aroma with a fair presence of hops. Lightly bitter on the nose. Sweet as well. Flavor is sweet malt, light grain and leafy notes. Hoppy flavor as well, nicely balanced. This is good!

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle - dark amber with slim off-white head. Fruity, malty caramel aroma. Same in the taste,. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, at least to begin with, goes a bit thin in the finish. Not bad.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a thick off white head. Clear with amber color.
Aroma is rich with American hops and sweet maltiness.
Flavor is disappointing. Bland with slight accents of roasted malt. Mouthfeel for not match what is expected for a 90 schilling ale with a dry finish rather than rich malty sweetness.
