murawski (158), USA Aug 20, 2006 This beer is exactly as advertised -- "an irresistibly smooth and delicious medium-bodied amber ale." I really enjoyed this ale, with a mild aroma, smooth malty flavor, and a nice mouthfeel (not too watery, like most amber ales). Overall, I would recommend this. I drank this one while unpacking our stuff after we moved into our first house, and it really hit the spot.
TKA300 (16), , Illinois, USA Oct 8, 2008 Very, very dark in appearance. Extremely drinkable, yet very filling. Very thick off-white head. Smells slightly of caramel. Kind of a dry finish on the palate. alraicercsu (106), Ft.Collins, Colorado, USA Sep 27, 2008 On tap. Pours a clear amaber color with a good size whiteish head. Smells a little of hops and burnt sugar. Tastes like it smells. Not bad not great. Papsoe (10428), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 25, 2008 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear deep amber golden with a dense off-white head. Somewhat dusty aroma also with some lightly burned caramel. Medium body with a little burned malt and hard roasted malts. The finish is dry. 180908 KimJohansen (4294), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 19, 2008 Clear dark amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with toasted malt and caramel notes. Flavour likewise with mild bitter finish. kyzr (962), Belgrade, Montana, USA Sep 15, 2008 Darker amber pour with nice off-white head. I noticed a good big of hops at first with some sweet malt and a touch of roast. Flavor had some caramel hints with a good bit of hop bite to it. Nice carbination also.
