COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Richer than most amber ales, 90 Shilling is smooth & deeply satisfying, with a crisp, clean Colorado taste. The name comes from the old Scottish method of naming a brewery's beer, based on original gravity and resulting tax rating.

It’s a bit thin, but it does have some malt flavor. Aroma is somewhat underwhelming but some good malt character does shine through. Overall, the thin finish is the most disappointing part... but hey, it’s beer!

Bready with a little caramel from the mild malt like a traditional english/scotch ale. A little carbonation with a hint of bitterness from the hops. Never a big fan of the style but this is well done.

Pours a hazelnut brown with a big rocky off-white head. Lots of intricate lacing. Sweet, caramel malt and nutty nose. Taste is intially sweet caramel, bready malt. Dried apricot, orange juice, citrus peel, and pecan. Pretty good.
