3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This ale poured a deep amber colour with a quick living, soapy, off white colour head. To the nose there are scents of ripe fruit, caramel malt, floral hops and apples. First taste was smooth and slightly watery with medium carbonation. Very malty flavour with other flavours of flowers, grass and light citrus. Finish is lightly bitter with a pancake syrup flavour lingering.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A copper ale if I’ve ever seen one. Whatever that means. A slightly darker richer amber. Aromas of sweet, biscuit malt with a hint of toffee. Flavor is well-balanced and very clean. Medium-light sweet with noticeable hops to balance the malt. High drinkability. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and round with moderate carbonation.
