Named after a little blue butterfly found living on wild hops along the Front Range of Colorado. Delicate hint of banana and clove-like flavor, typical of a traditional saison, that flutter with a subtle spice character derived only from the hops used.

Tap. Poured hazy dark golden color with an average to large frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy yeast, spice and sweet fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy balanced complex spice sweet flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid complex beer.

Smells a little like bananas and belgiany like yeast. Really good saison with a little spicyness to it. A really tasty refreshing crisp beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home. Pour is hazy orange with a big cream-colored head and great lacing. Clovey, musty, somewhat waxy, fruity, a touch of ester, white pepper, biscuit, banana, and honey in the aroma. Taste is fruity, banana, peppery, a touch of biscuit and straw on the backbone - pretty clean - somewhat doughy, earthy, musty, a hint of vanilla, and grass with a lightly spicy and dry finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very fruity and earthy saison, balanced nicely with spice notes and deep musty notes. I dig it.

Hazy organic honey pour with subtle white pepper, grapefruit pith, banana peel, and coriander notes. Bit of tartness on the back end. Some biscuit and yeast as well. Not bad...but not memorable either.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aroma of straw, yeast, spicy hops, citrus, light clove and light banana. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, spice, yeast and light fruittiness with a crisp dry lingering spiced finish.

750 ml. corked and caged bottle. Pours a thick, fluffy, well retained white head, with slight lacing, over a mildly hazy orange gold (SRM 5) body....nose is light malts, with hints of clove, light pear, apple, tones of floral honey....taste is slightly sweet with pear, apple tones, hints of clove, finishing with a light dry pepper tingle......mouth feel light, slightly astringent, carbonation low with a clean lightly acid finish. This is a very crisp, refreshing beer that fits well within the style, but interestingly could also be a Belgian Golden Strong that went slightly awry. Top rating to taste, this rating to style. Bottle. Pours a hazy orange gold with coarse off-white head, Decent retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is funky, barnyard, must, and herbal, mild fruit and alcohol. Flavor is fruity, mildly tart, peach, apricot, somewhat juicy, very slight alcohol, with a mildly spicy, clove, sweet finish. Pleasant yeast tones and mildly fruity, bitter aftertaste. Flavor is pleasant, herbal, but fruitier and sweeter than I had expected. Glad the hopping is subtle. Moderate to lively carbonation, medium body, crisp, bubbly texture, and significantly dry finish. A tasty, fruity, dry, herbal saison.

750 bottle, startes out with a nice head that quickly settles away, leaving slight lacing. Pours a cloudy pale orange. Sweet lemon orange aromas followed by some clove and spices in the background. Mildly sweet balanced by hop bitterness. A collection of a variety of fruits, pears, lemons, oranges, bananas, very tasty. Nicely cabonated with a satisfying palate. A long dry and fruity finish.
