Solid malty blend stands out from the beginning. Not overkill on any of the ingredients; a malty and slightly nutty taste begins and finishes with a pleasant smokey roast. A little liveliness to it, a little spice. Not bitter or sour.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from The Beerhive. Black body with a medium beige head. Great lacing. Aroma of coffee, milk chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Bitter chocolate, coffee, nuts and a faint metallic tang. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft carbonation. A hoppy Porter but not as nice as Williams Brothersí Profanity Stout I had yesterday.

Bottle dark brown, with mahogany edges/highlights. Dense tan head. Some toasted malt aroma. Rich smooth light roast flavors and as it warms up a bit, very smooth feel. Softly carbonated and notes of toffee and sweet roasted malts. Nice and easy.

I like this porter. Very strong taste of coffee. Itís initially light, sharp and a little carbonated but it gets a lot smoother with the hops coming through after a few gulps. Keep it coming!

Sampled at the brewery. This was on nitro. The aroma is very roasty. The flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, ash. This is harsh and grainy.
