A very nice porter, having it on nitro does nothing to enhance the flavors. Overall falls a bit flat.

Thin for a porter. Nice coffee overtones without the bitterness. Pretty decent beer.

On tap at brewery, pours a clear dark brown w/ large lasting tan head and spotty sticky lacing. Moderate sweet malty aromas. Initial flavor is light to moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Tastes are light roasted malts, nutty, chocolate, coffee, and grass. Medium bodied, average carbonation, and pleasant mouthfeel.

Keg at the exmouth arms. Dark chestnut brown colouth with a thin cream head. Aroma is subdued choc , wood and twigs. Flavour is woody choc ans soft coffee in the finish. Very clean ferment. Chalky palate. Light body for a potter and high carbonation. Not much going on. Prefer some of the London porters this is too sterile.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. The pour’s brown with a small head. Burnt toast and roasted espresso aromas. Moderately sweet chocolate sauce. Charred grain. Pretty simple, but nicely balanced. Medium body, soft carbonation. Limited, but tasty.

Poured from bottle stored in cellar at 55F. Pours a dark brown with a two finger tan head. Head dissipates down some but never goes away. Lots of lacing on the glass. Aromas of chocolate, yeast, coffee. Tastes of coffee, milk chocolate, cream with a bit of a dark malt bite at the end. There’s a little bit of nuttiness also. Mouthfeel is really creamy and soft. This is quite good!

Ha proprio tutto quello che ci si aspetta da una porter come si deve, e le note di cioccolata e caffé molto ricche e intrecciate con malti tostati e finale amaro le danno proprio un carattere coi fiocchi! Buona buona!

(draft @ Odell Brewing - Fort Collins, CO) Dark brown pour with a puffy brown head. Roasted chocolate aroma with lots of burnt malts and some light coffee hints underneath. Rich chocolate flavor with a very heavily roasted finish. Other than the Dark Passenger, best beer I had there.
