Not quite a stout but definitely no lightweight, Cutthroat Porter is smooth and robust. Inspired by the classic London porters, we use dark roasted malts to create a deep rich color and flavor that hint at chocolate and coffee.

Amazing beer, true to the genre. Smooth creamy head with feather lacing. Molasses and caramel on the nose and palate with a non-bitter butterscotch finish. Thank you Odell for this first class brew!

Hamisítatlan robusztus porter a maga kakaóporos, rumos csokoládés illatával, sötét gesztenyebarna színével, és pörkölt ízeivel, melyek néhol halványan füstösbe váltanak, néhol tejesen krémes és édeskés hangvételűek. Sima, kellemes kortyok, egyenletesen terjednek szét az ízek, melyek között legfőképpen az étcsokoládés, hosszúkávés zamatok diadalmaskodnak, mégis kellőképpen összetettek ahhoz, hogy egyéb, színesítő árnyalatokat is felfedezzünk kóstolása során.

Dark n lovely. A bit fruity and dry. Still rolling in WY. Don’t get porters as often as I should.

"wish lister. nothing bad, but we had a few better porters (and several better Odell beers) on this trip. Light roast and chocolate, hint of coffee...not quite robust enough flavor-wise to be a nitro beer, but it was still nice."

Pours a dark cola brown with a one-finger, pull candy colored head. Roasted malty, creamy nose. Moderately thick with some mild carbination scrub on the tongue’s surface. Lacing drags the inside edges of the glass as the beer is consumed. Very light smokiness, roasted malt, a bit of plastic, and a touch of cola.

Aroma is roasted chocolate and coffee malts. A little bit of alcohol. Surprisingly sweet. Hint of bready malts. Appearance is a dark brown with a big light brown head. Literally one of the most impressive head retentions I’ve ever seen. Lots of lacing. Taste is the same as the aroma. Creamy, roasted coffee and chocolate. A little bit of smokiness as well. Despite the creaminess, it remains a little thin for my taste. Overall, a solid porter. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Nitro version; ruby-chocolate with beige latte foam. Dark roast, graham, raspberry aroma; lightly acerbic, lightly sweet, very quiet. Papery and ashy qualities surround the malts in dust. Husky dog biscuit notes also present, becoming prevalent.

Fruity tobacco flavor with generous depth for chocolate malts and dark pit fruits to find. Medium acidity in the coffee like notes. Clean presentation of malt throughout. Mild citrus hints here and there suggest quiet hops.

The washy palate allows the finish to be clean and straightforward, though at the expense of the fullness it might otherwise offer.
