4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a very deep orange with a thick beige head. Aroma is citrus and some hops, fruity/get the wine barrel smell. Taste is very complex, a little sweet, fruit like and some spice - definite get a little of the apple and grapefruit as advertised but it is subtle. Also definitely get the sour/wild ale name as it definitely finishes sour and id call the finish dry. Quite an experience - very glad my beer guy recommended.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours cloudy yellow orange. Big lasting foam head. Looks great. Nose is mild sour, orange rind, bread, yeast, urine. Sweet orange flavour, spice, with a disappointing amount of sourness. Plenty of bubbles which is a bit too much and leaves a sugary sherbet finish. Alcohol strength is managed well. For a wild beer you would be expecting more complexity and sourness.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. £17! bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. This cloudy orange coloured beer pours with a large foamy head and remains lively to the bottom of the glass. It has spicy citrus and pineapple flavours, vanilla, oak, wine, whisky and tart cider apple notes on the dry, creamy zesty finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 mL, big thanks to my man Brett for the share! Pours a cloudy peach with vivacious, rocky white head. Nose and flavor hold huge nectar fruit with apricot and peach, hints of white wine and sweet pink grapefruit, lemon, orange rind, and soft, lovely funk. Definitely can sense the ABV, but it’s not sweet and has attenuated beautifully. Really nice.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of sour fruit, white grape, oak, hints of vanilla, lots of green apple notes with some slight lactic notes, hints of brett come through as well. Taste was a mix of brett, oak, vanilla, into some nice biscuit, bread, fruit comes through with lemon, tart berry, hints of green apple, finishing fairly tart, slightly dry. Pretty nicely done.
