Had this at Where The Wild Beers Are. Pours a hazed amber orange with a thin white to yellowed beige head. Soft fuzzy musk and fleshy tropical fruit on the nose. Big dense yeast, toast and malt. Light acid and pepper, musk, soft wheat. Big wheat and caramel into a yeasty finish with warm alcohol and light acid.

Bottle opened with a big pop of the cork and poured a deep orange amber color with a one finger white head. Aroma has white wine barrel, vanilla, sweet fruit, bready malt, and a snap of heat. Mouth feel is medium light and there is high side carbonation. Flavor has lots from the barrels, vanilla, white wine grapes, brett, esters, malt, and a light sweetness.

Bottle from Aaron. Thanks! Hazy orange pour with a huge white head. Really nice fruity aroma of peach, white wine, apple, banana, and citrus. Golden raisin, oak, vanilla, and a light tartness. The flavor is a blend of sweet and sour. Quite a lot of peach, banana, grape, apple, and golden raisin. Sweet vanilla, a touch of oak, citrus zest, mild tartness and a high level of carbonation.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ciaranc (369) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAY 2, 2013
Deep hazy orange, huge fluffy white head. Intense yeast nose, wood, wine, peach. Sour as. Medium body. Like a lambic, but with mad woody notes. Finish is long, sour and bitter. Not your ordinary beer.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheAlum (4289) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2013
750 ml bottle shared at the Flossmoor Pre-Dark Lord Day event (Flossmoor, IL). Pours a deeper orange amber hue, well hazed, good orange glow throughout. A frothy whitish head atop dies to a film and laces ok. Aromas are pears and apples, sour slant with some lactic acidity, yogurt, and lemons. Gentle oak, straw, and graininess. More lacto hits the nostrils, some gentle crab apple, bready malts, and melon. Initial is lighter end of the fold, more dry and fizzy brett up front hits the palate, grass and hay, some funky horseblanket. Some bigger yogurt influence, lactic acidity is soft and yogurty. Some crab apple, sour pear and some banana. Yogurt, brett, and some dryness. A bit fizzy and dry, brett influence. Some gentle oak, sweeter tart fruit and good lactic element but brett dominates the palate for me. A bit sweet and cumbersome for me, a touch thick and not light and vibrant like I prefer.
