Very nice bouquet. Super fluffy head...quite a lot of sediment. Aroma is maple syrup and apples. Yeasty flavor with some tarty fruit and finishes with heavy alcohol.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange-yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of sour fruit, white grape, oak, hints of vanilla, lots of green apple notes with some slight lactic notes, hints of brett come through as well. Taste was a mix of brett, oak, vanilla, into some nice biscuit, bread, fruit comes through with lemon, tart berry, hints of green apple, finishing fairly tart, slightly dry. Pretty nicely done.

Pour is dark hazed amber with a tight off white head. The nose is a balance of wood, Brett, and fruit. Wood is most forthcoming with apple skin, light mushroom and tannin. Taste is much less balanced, stronger malt undertones, brighter apple skin notes, musky mushroomy brett, fairly powerful tannic flavor. Very strong carbonation, light body, semi dry finish with a tinge of booze but not too much for the alcohol content.

Spicy peppercorn, sweet and sour notes cooking apples with a big bread/yeasty kick, nice enough tasted odd not bad just not what i was expecting.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours amber with a thin white head. High carbonation Aromas are funky, white pepper, caramel. Taste is funky, with the wine being very subtle. Texture is creamy. Finishes short. OK, but expected more.

Pours a slightly hazy golden light orange color. Tart aroma, with some citrus character. Nice tart, brett like flavor as well. Citrus. Some mild alcohol warmth and astringency (however served warm). Overall, pretty tasty but a little on the harsh side.

Nice sour with some interesting influences. Slightly sour aroma with fruit (apples) touches. Golden in color with some bubbles up the glass and a white foamy head. Puckering mouthfeel with carbonation and some dryness. Palate cleansing flavors from the sourness with fruit and wine. Some grainy spices in the blend as well. There was a lot going on. I couldn’t say it stood out drastically from other good sours though.

Overall, a pretty nice mild fruit wild ale...not sour by any means
