COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Pilsner is our tribute to the pilsner style, heavily hopped but balanced with malt and refined on our 5-barrel system. Originally brewed in Bohemia, pilsners were the world's first clear golden lagers and the start of a dramatic revolution in brewing. Today, pilsners are still a revered part of Czech and German life and an inspiration to our brewers.

Clean crisp clear-ish with a noble hops taste. Very much to style. Decent white head, light golden color, subtle malt tones and spicy hops influences.

7/9/2014. From bottle. Golden yellow with a white head. Fruity and spicy aromas. A little sweet at first, but with some boozy notes. Fruit, hops, malt, spices. Well rounded. Smooth finish.

Clear, burnt orange color with lots of bubbles holding a nice head. Tingy pale malt aroma. Tingy flavor. Tastes like beer of yesteryear. If you made a pale lager concentrate this woud be it.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a finger of white head. Aroma is bready with citrus and spicy hops. Taste is light bitter. Citrus with a spicy and herbal finish. Medium bodied with a somewhat creamy texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Crisp and refreshing with some slight warming at the end. Very good.

[Bottle] Golden pour with a soapy white head. Sweet biscuits, hay and floral hops in the aroma. Taste is of light sweet malts and mild grass/vegetable notes. Grass and lingering hop bite round it out. Sticky and oily mouthfeel. Light alcohol. Overall thoughts... it tastes like a nicely hopped malt liquor. Tasting notes from 11/2011.

Tap. Clear gold. Small white head. Crisp, sweet. So much better than a regular pilsner. Strong alcohol taste. Refreshing without being plain.

Sampled at the brewery. Great logo. This is a big beer. Spicy hi character, big sweet pilsner malt flavor. Some fruity notes in the finish. Not bad.

1st beer of GABF weekend. Not really my favorite style but I got the big abv taster at the brewery bc I wanted to test the higher elevation theory the first hour I was in Colorado. As one would expect, it was boozy. Nice medium body with some creaminess. Pils hops pop nicely.
