The beer is light in body and mild on hopping, but is not wimpy in taste. The yeast we leave in adds a delicate floral and citrus flavor and enhances the beer’s mouthfeel.

On tap at Steakout Saloon in FoCo. Pours a hazy orange color with white head. Wheat, citrus, yeasty flavors. One of the best American wheats.

Bottle. Slightly hazy light orange pour with a small white head. Unpleasant aroma of stale wheat, slight skunk. Light palate. Bland taste. Not digging this. Doesn’t appear that the bottle is very old, so I’m not sure what happened with this.

I had this at home. Pours orangish with a white head. Taste citrus, wheat, sweet. I thought this was ok. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: The aroma consists of banana, faint sulfur, and lemon. It pours a cloudy orangish-yellow with a two finger white head that quickly fades to a thin soapy film. The flavor starts with a a quick dose of banana. The finish has citrus, faint lemon grass, and just a hint of sulfur. It’s light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, I’m not a fan of the sulfur in the aroma nor the lemon grass in the finish.

Pours a clear orange-golden color with very little head. Orange and wheat malt nose. Good balance of softness and crispness. Sweet and orange flavors. Standard wheat, but done well.

This one is usually my go to for hefeweizens. I don't like the addition if citrus peel while still naming it a hefe. At what point is it a witbier? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at brothers downtown Denver. Pours a light tan color with a wheaty lemon taste . Easy drinking standard wheat beer. Eh

(bottle from Sparky, thanks!) Pours a very hazy orange color with a medium white head. Aroma holds plenty of wheat, but there’s also a fruity element to it that smells like a blend of banana, pear, and faint orange too. It’s hard to describe, but it smells pretty nice. Flavor holds some peach jam and orange marmalade spread over toast. This is a nice change up from the watered down lemon zest you normally receive from the wheat ale style. Mouthfeel is also fairly creamy and the carb is slightly low. Overall this is an above-average wheat ale that I think is a bit underrated.

Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy straw orange hue with white head. Aroma is citrus, wheat, yeast, straw. Mouthfeel is nice with a light body and creamy carbonation. Taste is wheat throughout with a spicy bitterness in following. Overall this is a decent shelf wheat.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2014 Hazy amber color with a small head. Wheat and yeast on the nose. Citrus and bread flavor with a bit of sweetness. This would make a nice session wheat beer.
