blankboy (2499), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 10, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Kevin. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with a small diminishing white head. Very mild aroma of wheat, grain and citrus. Flavour, also mild, of grain, wheat, fruit and a hint of spices. Pretty watery and not much of a finish. A dull Wheat beer, not worth having again. Note: Flavour bumped from 5 to 6 as as it warmed up a little it got a little more flavourful.
sketchmind (9), Omaha, Nebraska, USA does not count Jun 22, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy gold. With a bit of a white head. Had some good lacing with good retention. Wheat aroma, some lemon, biscuit. Taste was much the same I liked the small lemon zing, some yeast, solid wheat flavor. Thick wheat palate. Enjoyable, finishes clean. Refreshing. Great for a summer day kicking back.
A very solid wheat beer. FlyingSwine (97), Colorado, USA Jun 20, 2008 Pours a cloudy gold, with a decent white head. Decent amount of lacing. Light wheat aroma, with a bit of biscuit. Flavor is straight forward, and typical of a wheat ale, with a slight tang of grapefruit. Palate is good, starts with a bit of a fizzy spritz, and ends smooth with no lingering aftertaste. Overall a very refreshing wheat ale, perfect for hot afternoons. TikiE (310), Sylva, North Carolina, USA Jun 19, 2008 A little to femine for me I guess, didnt like this one. Poured a yellow orangish color that was topped off with a lemon tha the waitress put in. Very light and a very fruity wheat beer. uhclem (110), Loveland, Colorado, USA Jun 18, 2008 Cloudy lemon-yellow pour with a nearly white head. Moderate lacing. Nose is of sweet bread (as opposed to sweetbreads) and mild citrus. Taste is also of citrus and bread, with a malt undertone thrown in. Nice smooth mouthfeel. No aftertaste to speak of. auderale (453), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA Jun 8, 2008 Draft: Cloudy yellow colored pour with thick whit heat. Citrus and light wheat aroma with a malty lemon finish. I like this.
