The beer is light in body and mild on hopping, but is not wimpy in taste. The yeast we leave in adds a delicate floral and citrus flavor and enhances the beer’s mouthfeel.

Appearance: pours with a less than 1" off white sudsy head which recedes slowly. Lacing is very slight. Color is a very cloudy gold. Lots of sedimentation in suspension (with more yeast ’chunks’ stuck in the bottom of the bottle) Aroma: grassy wheat is the dominate smell, but there is also some malt sweetness, and clean water. Mouthfeel: light, watery and fairly crisp. The beer is somewhat sticky and adheres to the roof of the mouth. Flavor: sweet barley malts and grassy wheat are nicely balanced. Hop presence is quite mild but there is a slight bitterness lingering in the finish. Overall: a nice example of the style. This a pleasant and refreshing beer, especially on a hot summer day.

12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear deep gold body that supported a brief white head of bubbles. The aroma offers up soft sweetness, slivers of sweet lime candy, wheated malts and some estery fruitiness in the background. The taste begins with pear like fruitiness that picks up a thin sweetened lime note, a quick wafer thin pulse of lemon and then soft sugary sweetness rimmed by a pleasing yet light wheat note. Alright, pretty solid wheat.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014 Easy Street wheat bottle poured into pint glass. Finger thick head disappears within 2 minutes. Has a light aroma of citrus and hay. It has a golden color that I always appreciate in a beer. Medium bitter taste of citrus. Has a light body with average carbonation and a bitter aftertaste. Overall it’s a pretty decent beer. I really like this beer citrus is not my favorite flavor though.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with white head. Smells like shit, eggs, vomit. Easy to drink, light bodied, not at all as gross as it smells...so that’s a plus. Good carbonation, really not a whole lot going on in the beer, but it’s drinkable.

(draft @ Odell Brewing - Fort Collins, CO) Cloudy gold pour with a thick white head. Light wheat and straw aroma with a mild sweet and fruit and yeast hint. Dry wheat in the middle with a very light spice and yeasty finish. Not bad but not mind blowing.

Okay, so it might not be the best wheat beer in the world, but there’s lots to like about this cloudy brew. The citrus and yeast taste is very likable (while the former is just a bit too strong), and this beer has an exceptionally smooth, light body that’s quite approachable. A great choice for a scorching day.
