Must have been a better batch than before... Pour on tap at the brewery was hazy orange with thin white head, aroma brought big notes of ginger, slight biscuit bread notes, touch of caramel, some spice and slight grassy notes. Taste was fairly ginger forward but not overly so, nice biscuit and yeast notes with hints of grass and caramel, finishing fairly bitter. Nicely done.

Tap at Crankstein, as ESG (Extra special Ginger). Clear light amber with a grainy malty aroma with a dash of ginger. Taste was much more ginger-y with a firm backing of caramalt and chewy pale grains. But still mostly ginger. Pretty neat though.

Tap @ Cranknstein Foco. Clear, light golden appearance with a white head. Rich ginger, floral soapy aroma. Dial Soapy, bitter floral flavor. No thanks.
