4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml bottle. Belgian yeast evident in the aroma with hints of brett and higher alcohol. Really nice nose. Hazy gold color with some visible carbonation. Frothy, small bubble, off white head that lasts initially but fully erodes by bottom of glass. Rich, higher alcohol flavor and very carbonated mouth feel. Good amount of sweetness. Full bodied flavorful beer that’s a winner.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is a deliciously unique beer. At first I had concerns after reading green chilies and prickly pear as ingredients. You can taste both, and believe it or not, it's delightful.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
750 ml corked and caged bottle poured into a Snifter at 41°. Color is a hazy golden with very active carbonation and a tall rocky head that just keeps growing. As you pour more into your glass a few chucky floaties show up. Aroma is fruity and a little sour with some yeast in the back. It has a lighter medium body that goes down with a crisp yet smooth mouth feel. Flavor is light with pear, a hint pf pineapple and just a touch of peach, then a little oak shows giving it a note of vanilla. The hops come in giving a nice floral taste and a little citrus along with a nice bitterness. After taste comes on slightly dry with a tart almost sour feel then the citrus comes back up. Overall its a great brew, big extremely complex flavor, yet light and easy to drink with a nice alcohol kick that is completely hidden.

Dry, well-balanced. A lot of favors. Peppers? Blended ale. Is this 75 characters yet?

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750ml bottle. Pours clear dark gold with a huge creamy bubbly white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is slightly tart tropical fruits, honey and wheaty malts with a little chili.
The flavor is wheaty malts, honey, vanilla and a lot of sweet tropical fruits with a hint of chili spice in the finish. The mouthfeel is fairly full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, it’s pretty subtle but a very well balanced complex blend. I like the malts and tropical fruits with a hint of spice. It’s very easy drinking and seems more like a 4% beer rather than 9.5%

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a tough beer to rate against a style, so my assessment is purely based on general enjoyment. Poured a beautiful straw color with a huge white head. Great carbonation. Aroma is subtle. Would have expected more honey notes in the nose. Picking up a little floral hop aroma. Alcohol is present both in nose and palate. Palate is sweet, yet very sessionable. Honey shows through here, which isn’t easy to brew. Great mouthfeel....doesn’t linger. Would definitely drink this beer again!

Pours an orange hazy color. Aroma is hoppy citrus and malts almost like an ipa is what i am anticipating. Whoa, flavor is way different sweet at first getting pinneapple and candy and then apircots and vanilla earthy tones with some spicey heat notes that finishes clean what an interesting beer ! Really exceptional from a flavor and taste dynamic

This was an extremely sweet beer, but definitely well balanced. Very fruity aroma, and yet it is a beer you could drink a whole bottle and still enjoy it at the end. I like unique beers and this one is just that

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This on the surface seems like a really complex beer. Golden pour with a large yet quickly disappearing head. Strongest notes are pear, honey, and oak. Fairly unique. A bit sweeter than I expected. Overall a decent beer, extra points for uniqueness. A beer I’d consider purchasing again, though the price tag is a bit hefty.

[keg, Friends of Ham, Leeds] Extremely excited about trying this, on arriving at FoH I asked how much was left, and the barman replied there was plenty. Drank a few alternatives, then chose the Footprint last, out dribbles less than a third of a pint. So, I got (for free), the last part of the only keg in Europe of Odell Footprint. Opaque golden amber, with a large white head, it had a lovely aroma of orange barley sugar, straw, pine and leather. On the taste, sweet, slightly honey-esque with caramel malt, before a lot of citrus fruit, and then on the finish a peppery, metallic edge before the alcohol arrives. To be honest, I didn’t get much chilli other than maybe as that spritzy copperyness. Still, a great beer – no idea what prickly pear tastes like so we can chalk that one off. I imagine it featured in the overall thought of the beer – which was slightly coppery honeysuckle. Only complaint I have is that I’d like to have had more
