Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Solid IPA. Pours a coppery orange, hardly any head, bit of lacing. Very subtle malty aromas. Malty, nice grapefruit and other citrus flavors, not as bitter as I would have expected (you might call it halfway between pale ale and IPA, with tons of flavor). Crisp, slightly oily, very refreshing. This is the kind of beer that I could drink all day long.

Pleasant aroma of brown sugar and pine. Standard appearance, almost like a pilsner, light for an ipa. Refreshing taste, hoppy enough but extremely drinkable. Good malt background that is not overpowering. This could become a go to for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Delicious. Really fresh and well balanced. Juicy hops and a nice malt backbone. Good stuff. Would purchase again.

Aroma of caramelized toffee malt, honey and citrus herb hops. Appearance is hazy golden orange color with a large, puffy, lasting, off white head. The flavor delivers exactly what the aroma presented along with nice floral, herbal tea and a touch of pine in the finish. Medium body and silky texture. This is a really great IPA that reminds me of the IPA days before all of the citrusy "super" hops.

Bottle@The Flying Pig, London (04/06/2015) - hazy golden coloured pour with white head. Aroma and taste is tropical and citrus fruity, hoppy and malty, some caramel, tangerine, grapefruit, pine needles, hoppy bitter finish. Decent.

On tap. Pours. Hazy golden with a big, foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, tropical fruit, pine, and biscuit malt. Smells good. Taste is of mildly bitter hops with lots of tropical fruit. A lot of pine in there as well. Has a very biscuity. Malt backbone. Lingering hop burn. Drinks really easy, and has a lot of carbonation. I could drink quite a few of these.

Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Caramel and light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and caramel lingers with pine.

Draft. Pale orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of florals and white grapefruit, along with a bit of pale malt. Balanced flavors of grapefruit, toasted grain, and pine cone. Lighter bodied than expected with a clean bitterness. Definitely lighter and less resin-y than old school IPAs, but without the tropical notes of the newer school ones. Very solid overall.
