COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Bottle from Sun Devil. Nice aroma of sweat and weed - those are the hops we’re dealing with. Color is brown orange with a tall firm white head. Flavor is resinous hops and dark citrus rind. Had mine warm so it wasn’t refreshing, exactly, but the craftsmanship was plain to see.

Bottle. Moderate malt aroma of roasted, heavy pine for the hops, moderate soap for the yeast, with hints of pepper and a fruity/winey note in the background. Head is large, frothy, yellowish to start, then turns to creamy white. It has excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is slightly hazy sparkling amber. Flavor is moderate to heavily acidic, and finishes lightly acidic, moderate to heavily bitter, and a touch sour. Palate is medium, oily, has a carbonation between soft and lively, and finishes lightly dry. A nice balance in this beer, and the characteristics you’d expect in an IPA.

Pours slightly hazy, light amber to golden color, with very generous white head. Nose is exceptionally pleasant with tropical fruit, perhaps mango, tangerine, and a grassy to black tea leafy component that makes this aroma spectacular for me. Palate is on the dry side, light to medium bodied, and starts off with a cottony dryness that proceeds through some background biscuity/bready malt to a grassy and lightly herbal hop finish. Easily one of the better everyday IPA’s, especially considering the 6 pack distribution size.

12oz bottle. Real good citrus and pine aromas stand out. Copper body with white head and good lacing. Good sweet sugary citrus hop flavor. Good refreshing brew on the palate.

This is my favorite Odell’s brew. An excellent balance of malt and hops. Full bodied and rich. This one would last the voyage across the ocean, unless it was all consumed before they got there.

12 oz. bottle shared by bellportbeer. Pours a clear orange-tinted gold with a linen white head. Very pleasant aroma of grapefruit. The flavor is likewise all about the hops, which is all about the grapefruit once again. I especially like that this beer has captured the fruitiness of the grapefruit and not the bitter white pith that so many other IPA’s seem to favor. Bitter at the finish, but by no means excessive. This is a thoroughly enjoyable IPA.

Crushed with Jakebra. Nice piney, citrusy nose. Excellent flavor as well. A sexy, full-flavored, full-bodied, just plain awesome IPA.

Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & swoopjones -- courtesy of swoopjones. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a small diminishing creamy white head. Big-time hop aroma: Citrus and pee (in a good way) hops -- I love it, love it, love it! Flavour of resiny, citrusy hops -- wow, it tastes like it’s on draught. Nice long bitter finish. Medium bodied. Kudos to Odell’s, this is great stuff! It may be one-dimensional but who cares when it tastes this good -- again, I love it!

Ultra clear orange hue with whispy lacing on the head and glass. Aroma is super hops of floral and citrus with rich bread malts. Flavor of balanced malts and hops with thick chewy texture. The balance and hop presence is somewhere between a single an double IPA. Surprising malts, quite delicious.
