Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Had at the All Colorado Beer Festival in Colorado Springs on 11/7/09. Color is a deep gold with good carbonation and a thin tight head. Aroma is a hoppy citrus scent. Starting with a medium body it goes down easy with a crisp feel. Finish comes on with malt and mild caramel then a slight floral hop flavor and citrus. After taste is bitter with a mild citrus. This is a very good IPA with well balanced flavors and a nice mild citrus.

Crushed with some dudes from Oskar Blues and CaryTheDude. Piney hop aroma. Nice hop bite with caramel and crystal malt backing. Just an overall solid IPA.

Bottle. This is standard fare for a couple friends of mine who bring it over constantly. Canít say much for the aroma other than hoppy. Hoppy all the way through, smell, taste, aftertaste. Definitely a quality beer.

12 oz bottle. Whoa! Damn this is nice. Also- thier entire lineup at GABF was just outstanding. Pours a deep golden clear, nice carb, thin and lasting sticky head and killer lace. Aroma is just a punch of fresh resinous as hell piny minty sappy, citrus, and weed-like hops- I wouldnt even say citrus- just weed. Flavor is resinous and just loaded with nice fresh big alpha hops, prickly minty ganja like, very low malt, with a great drying prickly feel in the back of the tongue. Crazy good for a standard IPA! I love it.

Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Extremely rich peachy hopped aroma with lemon and pine, thin toffee also comes up. Medium bodied. Flavor is rich too with same peach-pine dominating, aftertaste is well hopped with lemon and pine still lasting.

Bottle that I picked up from Bellingers, Jet Garage, Grove Nr Wantage, Oxon, consumed 18-09-09 Pours warm gold with a white head. The hops struggle to shine on the nose as they compete with a heady sweetness, plenty of honey on the nose. The taste lacks the crisp hoppy bite or decent bitterness, its got good flavours but the honey sweetness does tend to dominate.. A7 A3 F7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Pours a hazy dark gold with a soapy, sticky lace - potent nose of resinous hops, with some orange peel and other citrus qualities, as well as some honey and caramel sweetness to anchor all the bitterness - a load of earthy pine cone - dry bitterness, with some fruit peel tang and peppery, zesty qualities - some tropical fruit sweetness, but just enough to keep the hops and peppery flavors from becoming too much - a really well-executed IPA - the kind of IPA that reminds me why I havenít given up on the style.

12oz bottle and on tap (brewery tap house). Poured a deep orange color with a big white frothy head and thick lacing. A big floral and citrus hop aroma. Hop blast up front with a great citrus flavor that is immediately balanced with malty sweetness. Oily and medium bodied with a nice carbonation.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured an amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma was fragrant grassy hop mixed with tropical fruit notes.Plenty of hops jostling in the flavour with balanced sweet malt. All very well proportioned with good bitterness in the finish. A vey solid and tasty IPA.

Bottle thanks to MrBunn. The cap pops off and instantly Im greeted with a wonderful grapefruit and pine cloud. This beer smells fantastic. Pours a slightly oily and thickish dark yellow with a decent white head. Taste is quite good except for a rubbing alcohol funk that smacks the back of the tongue and lingers on down the pipes. Nice crisp flavors of citrus, pine and a light floral edge. Not sure I can get past the funk though...its quite distracting from an otherwise very good beer.
