This is my favorite IPA to drink. Great drinkability. Great nose, an amazing grapefruit zest, and a bite. I love this beer.

Pour is pure gold with a dense creamy almost off white head. Head settles quickly but leaves good lacing. Strong citrus nose, mostly grapefruit. Initial taste is a slight syrupy sweetness. The sweetness is immediately replaced spice (cloves and anise). Bitter finish which evaporates off the tongue.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: OCT 23, 2009 Draught at my house. Medium off-white head with clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, piney, and grass. Some fruit and pine taste, aybe a little to sweet for my IPA taste but very easy to drink and enjoy mindlessly for an IPA, orange and floral also with not to much of a bitter finish... hides the ABV of 7% very well. Medium bodied, nice IPA

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2010 Bottle at ACBF09. Pours a clear light orange with a thick white head. Aroma is super hoppy, predominantly grassy and oily hops. Flavor of crisp hop oils, citrus. Very rich palate. Awesome IPA, very drinkable. One of my favorites at the fest.
Update 1/29/10: 12 oz. bottle thanks to Sparky27, best by 2/13. Pours a slightly murky light orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, hop resins. Flavor of hop oils, grassy hops, citrus. Hmm, spot on from my memories at the fest!

Great IPA - wonderful smells arise from a poured glass, including citruses and evergreens. Top of my list of favorite IPAs.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle sampled at Noog Four-0 5/31/08: Pours a clear deep golden with a nicely-lacing clingy white head. Aroma of grassy grapefruity hops and lightly sweet toasty pale malts. Body starts with decent effervescent carbonation and some grainy sweet pale malts and resiny bittering and flavor hops before a bittersweet finish. A decent IPA.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Had on draft at the brewery. Incredibly fresh and floral. An amazing IPA coming in at 7% and 60 ibu’s. Must have serious additions of late hops and dry hops. This beer is just a mouthful of citrus hop goodness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear amber, with a medium beige head, good lacing. Very strong pine, grapefruit, and grass aroma, with some caramel underneath. Medium body, relatively dry. Lots of hop flavors stand out, mostly grapefruit but some subtle grass, pine, and faint floral notes too. There’s some solid caramel flavor tucked under the layers of hops. Fairly strong, long lasting bitter aftertaste.
