Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Appearance: Pours a semi-clear, bright gold. Small white head fades rather quickly but a thin lace lingers. Aroma: Quite aggressive aroma. Pungently floral up front but I really liked the lemon, grapefruit, citrus-y flavors towards the end. Nothing but hops here. Taste: Quite refreshing! Bitter and hoppy from the get-go but finishes light, sweet, and citrus-y. Virtually no malt flavor. Palate: Very light-bodied, lively carbonation and a very clean mouthfeel. Overall: Another highly drinkable IPA, I think they’re finally starting to grow on me :) Great hop flavor without being annoyingly bitter. Great mouthfeel and aftertaste so I almost want to savor the flavor, but it’s so light and clean I can’t fight the desire to indulge.

On tap. Pours. Hazy golden with a big, foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, tropical fruit, pine, and biscuit malt. Smells good. Taste is of mildly bitter hops with lots of tropical fruit. A lot of pine in there as well. Has a very biscuity. Malt backbone. Lingering hop burn. Drinks really easy, and has a lot of carbonation. I could drink quite a few of these.

Bottle. Amber beer with a dark cream head. Caramel and light grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor with caramel. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and caramel lingers with pine.

Draft. Pale orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of florals and white grapefruit, along with a bit of pale malt. Balanced flavors of grapefruit, toasted grain, and pine cone. Lighter bodied than expected with a clean bitterness. Definitely lighter and less resin-y than old school IPAs, but without the tropical notes of the newer school ones. Very solid overall.

This is perfection when it comes to IPA. It has it all, perfect bitterness and a well balanced taste. Probably the best beer in the world!

Bottle Beermerchants.com Bright gold, small off whit head. Grapefruit danky nose, tea leaf little eatery with a bit of yogurty sourness. Nice balance of bitter, medum body with good mouthfeel. Flavour, hoppy foresty with peach, berry, orange and marmalade. Interesting, complex, clever, tasty and moorish with a waft of an English style about it.

12 oz pour from refrigerated bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Moderate produces a nice white pillowy head. Lasting and have lots of lacing. Very hazy, moderate carbonation. Golden-orange. Nose is pine and citrus. Mouthfeel is moderate. Taste is great. Lots of bitter citrus up front, then some malty balance in the middle. The end more bitter hoppiness. Overall a solid hop-forward IPA.

A deep malty aroma battle a kinda citrusy aroma with this pale orangy hazy brew. A bitterness is quickly taken over by a full bodied maltieness and mellows out in the end in a great combo.

Wittales (700) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 12, 2015
Appearance was clear orangish gold with lasting creamy white 2 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are orange marmalade, lemon, tangerine and grapefruit with soft pale malt sweetness, no alcohol. Taste are orange and tangerine blast upfront, then soft sweet malt middle swallow. The glorious soft piney balanced fruity finish. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with medium body, then lasting soft resinous fruity finish. Overall a wonderful malty fruity East Coast style IPA.

From ontes on 3/30/15 On tap at Odell. Another excellent example of a solid IPA. Very good. Lots of bitterness with tons of flowery aroma and taste.
