Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Now I see why its rated as good as is. An IPA needs to be floral, bitter, pungent without being harsh. The succeeded In my opinion. Iím not an in-your-face-hops guy so I shy from IPAs unless they are this good. Mmmm.

Draft. Very fresh and aromatic. Pours dank looking but clears up somewhat. Nice resiny hop flavors that are not overwhelming. Very drinkable. Well done.

Pflugerville, Tx - H.E.B. grocery store - 12 oz bottle. Hazy medium golden pour, fluffy, sticky, snow white head that leaves plenty of sticky lacing. Honeydew melon, hint of spruce in th aroma. Solid IPA flavor with some juicy citrus bitterness, some caramel sweetness, a touch of honeydew melon fruitiness. Odd, clay-like essence in the finish. Decently, thick mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle poured into an IPA glass. In my opinion, the best IPA made in Colorado. Pale orange color. Grapefruit, orange, and pine flavors and aromas. Really well balanced. About as good as it gets.

Bottle from Moscow Co-op. Clear burnt copper with frothy white head. Fresh bottle from the smell of this. Leafy, pine, grapefruit. Biscuit backing. Snappy. Medium body, oily texture, dry finish. Solid, well above average ipa.

Draft at Thunder and Buttons. Pours clear bright gold with a fizzy beige head. Tastes like grapefruit, caramel, resin, nutty malt, dry citrus hops. Light/medium body and carbonation. Smells like caramel, grapefruit, resin, citrus hops, and nutty malt.

Beer improves with warming. Iím a fan of the more balanced brews and while the aroma here is suggestive of that, the rest doesnít quite follow through. Flavor leans bitter and finish continues with that. Very easy drinking brew. Iím looking forward to more.

On tap at PreFunk. Seems tame after a IIPA, but straight forward. Hops not as big as expected, subdued. More resinous than citrus, but nicely blended overall. A bit maltier, but not too much bigger than an APA. I would consider this a good gateway IPA, but not rated as highly as represented here.
