Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Now I see why its rated as good as is. An IPA needs to be floral, bitter, pungent without being harsh. The succeeded In my opinion. I’m not an in-your-face-hops guy so I shy from IPAs unless they are this good. Mmmm.

Tasted from can. Pours a misty clear amber with thick white rocky head. Aroma is grapefruit, pineapple and orange. Taste is very well balanced with excellent citrus and tropical hop flavor with caramel malt backbone. Very well done IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a medium-dark amber-gold color with a very large foamy white head that had excellent retention, and very good cling and lacing. Its aroma featured a big citrus blend of flavors, including grapefruit, and pine and grassy notes too. The taste was a bitter citrus, pine, and grain blend, with a subtle straw and grass character that added a bit of sourness. It had very good carbonation with a filling, although dry, mouthfeel with a lively, zesty feel.

This beer is a clear dark golden color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle. All the way from the US to Denmark, thanks to my girlfriend. Clear and light amber color, with white foam. Medium sour and heavy bitter finish. Sticky texture. Taste of citrus (perhaps citra hops?).
