COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

12 ounce bottle into a chilled pint glass, golden with a thick head. Great hop aroma; excellent hop flavor of grapefruit, citrus. Crisp mouth feel. Quality, like everything I’ve had so far from Odell. (11/1/12)

Pours a deep golden color with a finger or so of eggshell foam that sticks nicely. The nose is ripe resinous hops with touches of sweet fruit, pine, straw and fresh grass on top of clean caramel malts. The palate follows the nose nicely with great balance. Crisp focused and tasty ! Thanks adnielsen.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Hotel glass (half pint, half snifter) From: Wilbur’s Total Beverage in Fort Collins, Colo. Price: Part of a variety 6-pack for $9.99 Purchased: May 2, 2013 Consumed: May 2, 2013 Misc.: Best by Aug. 14, 2013 Poured a copper orange clear color with about 2-3 fingers of foamy white head. Lots of bubbles underneath. Tons of circular foamy lacing on the sides. Fantastic retention on the top the whole way down. Smelled fantastic with mainly floral and citrus hops. Also got grapefruit and tangerine. Slight bitterness, but not overwhelming. Some light notes of lemon, lime and pine. Tasted pretty close to the smell, but maybe not as strong. Immediately reminded me of a Manzanita IPA. Lemon more than grapefruit. Faint butter notes. Floral notes are noticeable as well. Very good overall. Medium-to-light body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Slightly bitter finish. Really enjoyed my second beer from Odells. I will be back for more.

Gold with tall foamy white head. Floral orange citrus aroma. Taste is malty, fairly rich and balanced by a hefty piney, citrus hop presence. Long bitter finish. Moderately creamy texture. Very nice IPA, not in my top 5, but definitely in my top 10 IPA’s.

Once opened you get the sweet aroma, nice orange features with a sound head, crisp with citrusy flavours and a nice lingering hoppy after taste. Lovely

Bottle from Good Spirits Co, Glasgow (355ml, £3.50):
Very hoppy with strong tropical fruit and citrus notes., There is a good amount of pine and a solid, light caramel malt base underneath.
Light amber. Small, bubbly white head that halves to be about 0.5cm tall.
Very hoppy taste to begin with although it’s not as strong as before. The main flavour is a tropical fruit one that is infused with some citrus and pine as well as fresh hops and some more subdued, sweet malts with touches of light caramel. There is some lemon around the middle and a pleasant grapefruit taste too, along with a hugely bitter finish.
Smooth with big carbonation. There was a slight citrus tang in the middle but overall the beer was surprisingly refreshing.

Great hop and tropical fruit tastes with plenty of bitterness yet still seemed refreshingly drinkable and very enjoyable. Up there with some of the better IPA’s I’ve tried thus far.

Fresh bottle. Nice nose. Big citrus/ grapefruit hops. Cascade/ centennial taste. Kinda watered down. I’m not a big malt fan, this needs some more malt in the body. Just tastes watery. Under impressive ipa from a great brewery!

I’ve been wanting to try this one for a while, and finally did. Had it on tap at the local Old Chicago. Poured amber with light white head. Great grassy citrusy smell, very clean and crisp. Nice hoppy taste but not too overdone. Again, more citrus and grass, also a bit of fruitiness. Nice tart dry finish. Will have again.

[355ml bottle, Appellation Wines Comely Bank, Edinburgh] An inviting deep coppery-golden beer, with a semi-translucent off-white head. Aroma is some citrus, grassy hop and mango/passion fruit sweetness. Similar flavours, with a slightly bracing waft of alcohol at the end. Impressive stuff, and fairly dangerous at 7% [21042013]

Tap at Old Chicago, Grassy IPA with no lingering bitterness nothing to draw me in , just a bland IPA.. just like most of Odells beers.
