Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

Bottle. Pours clear dark yellow with a small white head that sticks around. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is juicy, fruity hops and sweet maltiness. Flavor is fruity, very fruity hops and a very sweet backbone. Herbal hoppy notes poke through, finish is a little more refined with a green bitterness and light mintiness. A little too sweet for my IPA tastes, but for an appeal-to-the-masses IPA this one will work.

(Backlog) Bottle at fantasy tasting at Paul’s. Golden pour with white head. Pine, earthy, citrus hop aromas. Some herbal and earthy hop flavors, with a significant amount of malt balance.

Clear golden beer with a foamy head and a tangy fruit aroma. Taste has an initial tangy, almost grapefruit-y hit with a touch of sweet caramel. It leaves similar flavour but with a touch of malt as well. Very drinkable indeed.

Nice hop flavor, but the malt backbone is a little thick for a non-imperial IPA. I much prefer Sam Adam’s Rebel IPA

Bottle bier huis ossett. Orange ok white head lacing. Aroma is pine resin orange Carmel malts. Taste is same light hoppy bitter finish. Nice body oily mouthfeel. Good stuff could do with a higher level of bitterness for me.

33cl bottle. Pours a beautiful amber color, off white head. Smells of caramel, some hops, light floral and fruity notes. Taste starts sweet with some citrus, vegetal hoppy notes, maybe some yeast. Dry bitter finish. Very good not too sweet/fruity american take on British style IPA.

Clear gold pour with a white head. The aroma has light pine and spice all from the hops. The flavor is nicely bitter but within a good balance. Easy drinking, middle of the road IPA. Thanks to crajun for the trade.

On tap at shamrocks. Served a copper color with a small head and good lacing. Aroma of pine, bit of grapefruit and sweetness. Taste of pine, mild malt sweetness and bit of grain. Nice bitterness and a dry finish. Moderate body, crisp with a nice clean feel. Nice bee without being overly hopped.

Bottle at Pub 17 (the hotel bar in the Grand Hyatt on Welton in Denver) poured into a pint glass. Pours orange colored with a creamy white head on top. Aroma of grapefruits, big pine notes, bready malts. Flavor follows closely with a huge bitter pine bite that is very drying on the finish. Despite the bitter, there is a definite malt presence here and it is certainly not what I’d call a west coast IPA. Medium bodied, on the dryer side, with medium plus carbonation. Good brew, but not sure it met my expectations.
