Ready to buck convention? We took the traditional IPA, originally shipped from Englad to India in the 1700s, and made it bolder and more flavorful - American style. We've added new varieties of highly aromatic American hops to create a distinctive bitterness profile and an incredible hop character. Hop on, hold tight, and enjoy the ride!

12oz Bottle. The pour was a cloudy orange with an average (1-2 finger) white frothy head that was mostly lasting, reducing to a thick frothy film and large collar with excellent sheeting of sticky lacing. The aroma was of a grain malt, floral and citrus hops and a sweaty yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit and orange peel). The taste was moderately bitter with a light caramel sweetness pretty much throughout, progressing slightly with a nice grapefruit hop presence taking over along with a bitter citrus peel ending. The flavor lasted an average time proceeding the swallow with a light hoppy grapefruit taste left behind to linger a little longer. Mouthfeel was light in body and dry in texture with a carbonation that was just beyond mild in intensity. Overall I found this to be a very well balanced IPA, nice and hoppy with a tasty light sweetness and a not so overbearing bitterness... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReview

Robe orangée et opaque. Une Jolie mousse se forme facilement. Arômes résineux, épices et agrumes. Malt, levures et fruits jaunes en bouche. Final de fruits confits. Texture liquoreuse. Longue en bouche. Une bonne IPA.

bottle, your typical 2008 IPA. Thick sweet body, tons of bitter, 25% pine 75% citrus. Very good, nice to have this as a staple.

Poured from a fresh 12oz brown bottle into Spieglau IPA glass, a clear orange amber colour with persistent white foam and lace. Aroma is really great. Along the lines of many American IPAs but better than average. Citrus and not just grapefruit, lime leaves, lemon zest, orange marmalade, piercing dank ganja weed (Columbus?), intense woodsy/earthy/spicy (Simcoe?), floral, fruity, leafy. Flavour was the same, perhaps just a little less complex. Rich malty, caramelly, bready maltbill underneath. Slight residual sweetness but not at all syrupy. Medium body and carbonation, long-lasting hoppy aftertaste. Very tasty, another strong flagship offering from Odell.

On tap at some fucking bar near my hotel in Minneapolis. I was going to go to town hall on my one free night but since the WNBA game let out and the train was picked this will do I guess. Pours copper, small off white head. Some light pine and resin, toast, slightly bitter. Finish is long and drying.

Pretty good hop aroma, pine and maple. Flavor of mild malts and mango hop flavors. A little light on mouthfeel but bitterness works for this one.

Draft at Sioux Falls Regional Airport (SD). Poured orange in color, clear, lots of foamy head and lots of lacing. Aroma of malts, bread and citrus fruit. Taste of bread, orange and grapefruit; some grass and hoppy notes. Very solid IPA; very good.
