Rather so-so attempt at a winter warmer. Caramel flavour, but no real body to it for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Toasty, toffee, sweet malt aroma. Caramel, sweet, bread crust, and toasted malt flavor. A little fruity. Spices are in the aroma and flavor, but not a ton--probably just about right. Maybe allspice and cinnamon?

Draft on the slopes in Breckenridge. Pours clear ruby brown with a frothy off white head and lots of lacing. Tastes like dry hops, malt, bready, slightly musky. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like malt, grains, slightly sweet with a light hop aroma.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at the base of Peak 9 at Breckenridge on a powder day. Pours clear dark copper/amber with creamy beige head. Aroma is cookie and caramel malts, fig, burnt toffee, chestnuts, and light woody notes. Flavor is dry malts forward with a touch of sweetbread that quickly dries out to woody notes and hop bitterness; dry and bitter finish that lingers. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a clear amber with small frothy white head that leaves spotty lacing. The aroma is raisin and bready malt. Medium mouthfeel with light bready malt and lingering dry finish. Good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Christmas present from my nephew Matt. Pours a nice amber with a fluffy head. The aroma is very like a good Irish Red. The flavor has the same. Easy going down with a nice dry feel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle into Tulip. Minneapolis.
Appearance: Copper colored with a hint of ruby. Transparency is somewhere between hazy and cloudy. Significant off-white head.
Aroma: Molasses, raisiny, malty. Pretty subtle.
Taste: A mild sweetness upfront which transforms into bitterness in the finish.
Palate: Medium body with a oily texture. Pretty soft carbonation.
Overall: Overall: A nice beer, but a little underwhelming in most categories. Would have liked a lot more flavor and a lot less sweetness. The maltiness was a bit too much much for me, and really built over the course of the beer. A decent beer but not very memorable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
appearance: very clear copper color with a beige head, the head pours pretty big but settles into a smaller head that retains nicely
aroma: caramel, malty, honey, butter, pretty sweet, grapes even
taste: strong malt throughout, some hop bitterness is in there too, kind of sweet and very smooth
palate: lots of froth which i wasn’t expecting but I like, average carbonation, slight bitter aftertaste
overall: awesome mouthfeel on this one, I’m impressed with the execution of this style (malty), would be a good session beer

Pours a reddish amber color. Notes of dirt, brown sugar, stale hops, and figs.
