Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 15, 2007 Bottled at Mesa Verde in the A terminal at Denver International airport. My last beer on American soil before boarding my plane to Munich after a 10 day stay. An amber beer with a thick light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel, as well as hints of hopd. omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 30, 2006 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] Pale amber. Buttery aroma. A simple little beer with clean, rounded mouthfeel, flavours of unmalted barley, bread and vegetables. Near no bitterness. oh6gdx (5739), Vaasa, Finland Oct 3, 2006 Bottled. Hazy, paleish amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, a bit vegetables and grassy hops. Flavour is flowery hops, water and some caramel. Quite standard US Amber Ale. TBone (4924), Pori, Finland Oct 2, 2006 Bottled.
Light amber color, small head. Vegetables and rye in the nose, maybe grassy hops. Light, lots of grassy (vegetably) hops. Malty and grassy finish. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 4, 2006 Hazy amber, thick white head, nice lacing. Nose of sweet hops and light caramel, average flavor. Eh, could use more balance, body, hops, I dunno, it’s a session.
