Pour on tap at the brewery, dark brownish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of dark cocoa, roast, hints of raspberry in there but not too sweet, touch of coffee, slight vanilla, oaky type notes as well. Taste is a mix of cocoa powder, hints of roast, coffee, and dark chocolate, some slight raspberry thatís hidden but it works pretty well.

On draft at Odell. Pours a medium porter brown with an off-ten head. Nose is roasted malts, some chocolate, some raspberry flesh, and some light vanilla. Flavor follows: roasted malts, nice chocolate, and hints of raspberry and vanilla. Medium in body and nice overall.

Clear dark brown with a thin but firm light tan head. Nose was full of sweet milk chocolate, a little bit of chocolate pudding, roasty dark maltiness, and a touch of oak--no raspberries on the aroma. But the flavor had a nice touch of raspberries--not too tart or sweet, but balancing and fruity. But itís much in the background as the foreground is full of roasty dark chocolate, dark malty sweetness, with a roasted black bitterness. The brew is neither too sweet or too dark, or too tart or full. Itís not medium bodied either--thereís a nice balance among all the elements and its a lovely sipper thatís not heavy or too much of anything.

On tap at the brewery. Pour is deep brown with a small tan head and great lacing. Roast, cocoa, espresso, light raspberries, and bread in the aroma. Taste is roast, lightly tangy, coffee, dark fruits, a touch of spice, and biscuit with a light bitter finish. Full body with soft carbonation. Well-crafted porter, but nothing too special, could benefit from added sweetness.

Tap @ Odell. Pours a dark brown appearance with a tan head. Notes of chocolate, raspberries, vanilla and light coffee in the nose. Fairly mild raspberry in the flavor with a creamy chocolate character dominating. Pretty tasty.
