You know those epic days that start with an idea, turn into a dare and end with a great story to tell? This is the beer for those days. Crisp and refreshing like any respectable session ale, but a bit more hop-forward and flavorful than some. Perfect for going with the flow.

Poured from 12oz bottle into small Duvel glass. Gold with head that quickly disappears. Aroma of grains and a light soup base - chicken broth. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of barley water, light malts, light straw and floral hops. Overall quite light with a touch of citrus and sweetness.

12 fl oz bottle from the Lion’s Den, Yarm. Pale golden colour with bubbly white foam head leaving some lacing and aroma of fruity, hops, bready malt. Taste is sweetish, malt, slight grain & biscuit, hoppy floral citrus orange and grapefruit bitterness. Thin mouthfeel, light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dryish light bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from Total Wine. Very pale hazy gold with lasting white head. Bready yeasty aroma with noble grassy hops. Very mild melon sweetness with very grassy hop bitterness that lingers slightly. Light body fine soft carbo. Not an IPA or a session IPA. More like an American wheat kolsch or something. But very tasty,

Gold pour, good clarity, topped with a thick white head. Not much of an aroma, but good hops in the taste. Floral and herbal. A little grain, but still a decent take on the style.

Pretty light and pale in color, something just off in the taste not as clean and refreshing as other session IPA’s. Too much wheat/grass/hay taste for my liking. Meh

BBE 11/12/14 - Pours clear yellow with a thick white head. Aroma of hay, citrus, herbal notes, hints of grass. Taste is smooth, stuffy, a bit citrusy and herbal with hints of hay. Finish is stuffy and sweetish. Decent.

Bottle at home from Blackrock cellar. Pours cloudy yellow with wispy white head. Light pine aroma. Light malt background with mild bitterness. Nice beer but stripped of too much flavour to make the alcohol lighter.
