You know those epic days that start with an idea, turn into a dare and end with a great story to tell? This is the beer for those days. Crisp and refreshing like any respectable session ale, but a bit more hop-forward and flavorful than some. Perfect for going with the flow.

Btl pours a clear light golden color. Nice thick white head that fades slowly leaving a small amount of lacing. A faint smell of floral hops, straw and cooked vegetables, maybe gingerale too. Very light sweet malt taste followed by a very mild fresh, crisp hop flavor. Light body, dry texture, soft carbonation and minimal bitterness with a smooth finish. This is very easy drinking session beer.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle share. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry. Mild fine carbonation. Light malts, touch of dry cream. Mild citric bitterness. Light dry finish. An unusually muted beer from Odell.

A fresh, date on the label bottle. Lots of sediment on the bottom of these bottles, and a lovely blue smoke, all great signs of another awesome Odell brew to follow. Pours very pale and hazy after you swirl the last ounce or so. The nose is very floral hops and not much more. A touch of Belgium yeast and bread follow. It smells so fresh and light for a pale. A session brew it is. It has very mild but floral hops up front, a light mouth-feel in the middle, and finishes clean and bright with the hops lingering for just a moment, as they fade you may realize you can drink these after a bomber to lighten up. It is a great American pale session ale. I would prob classify this as a lawnmower or daytime IPA, but the sediment and pale nature kind of blur the category. It is an excellent brew, as have been all eight Odells I have had. This is a very under-rated brew.

This beer was extremely clean and went down too easily. On the lighter side. A good pre-meal or post-ride beer.

Bottle from Four Firkins. Pours a pale golden orange with a white head. Aroma has light pine, light citrus, some biscuity malts. Taste is similar; light pine, light citrus, some fruits, some malts. Shrug? Sessionable, yes, not a lot to it, though. 13.1

Nice fresh lively sessionable IPA. Hoppy and definitely more on the tree-ish hop side than the floral or citrusy ones. A bit spicy but not too much so. Not real bitter and enough sweetness to balance that out. Easy to drink but definitely for the hop-lover.

Sampled from bottle @ ChrisO after GBBF day 3. Clear a bit pale golden color, average sized white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste lightly malts, slightly hops, lightly citrus, lightly zesty, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Hmm Iím not really impressed by this one.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2014 Clear yellow. White head. Aroma of grain, corn, straw, and grass. Taste is grainy, a little sweet, and just barely bitter. Light-medium bodied and a little dry.

Grassy hop nose and flavor dominate while some light sweet pale malts shine through to balance this palatable and easy-drinking, but non-boring session ale. Just a touch over on the bittering hops. While it may not measure up to my favorite IPA, itís more hoppy than your average session beer, which is appreciated.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is dry, hopy and slight herbal. Mild fruity. Bitter and crisp hoppy finish.

Bottle to glass. Pale yellow color with thick white head. Aroma is grainy, more like a pils. Not much hop aroma, no detectable malts. Taste is mildly hoppy, with some grains and grass. Very mild bitterness. Palate is thin body, medium carbonation. More like a pale lager, with a bit more flavor. Not the best session beer available, there are plenty of others with way more flavor. Never again! Never again!
