3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nearly black pour with a little chocolate brown head. Smells of smoke and toasted malt. A sweet chocolate front with an alcohol and toasted malt finish. There are some lingering subtle notes, for some added sweetness, perhaps that is the milk sugar or possibly vanilla. It is a rich, creamy stout that has a kick. Good blend.

Black pour with a large tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and chocolate milk. Taste of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate milk and a hint of vanilla. Full bodied and a beautiful creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden behind the sweetness. This beer is absolutely frigging delicious! AWESOME!!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
It poured a black color with a nice tan head. The aroma was of roasted malt, chocolate, some lactose and alcohol. The taste was very sweet, milky / a little creamy, roasty and a strong alcohol finish. It was very full bodied, which was unexpected. Very tasty.

Just a perfect treat. Awesome hints of chocolate. Convinced to try this after a tour of the brewery. Great history behind this beer.

Shared with the missus on Valentines. Man, they nailed this one. Tastes like chocolate milk would if it was a beer. Rich milk chocolate flavors and enough hops to clean the palate. Pretty subdued standard nose, with some of the milk chocolate showing through. Sweet but not cloying. Couldn’t do more than one of these at a sitting. Too rich (and 8.5% to boot). Fun for something different. Great desert beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beautiful looking pour-jet black with tight tan head. Good strong nose of chocolate and malt. The nose is plenty roasty, but doesn't have the dryness/crispness if roasted barley. Flavor is dominated by the creamy, chocolate sweetness. Plenty of dark malt and caramel character too. Balance seems a bit odd, with some hop bitterness in the finish fighting with all the sweetness.
