3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is those beers that brings something interesting and different but in the ends the overall product isn’t the best possible. Medium sweetness, some roastyness., sweet short finish.
edit: this is better warm. points upgraded -> 0.1

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aaaaaand another wish lister. Another winner from Odell. Smooth, and a little lighter than expected for the abv. Slight bitterness in there, but otherwise all about the creamy milk chocolate, smell, taste and body. Don’t see the lower scores on this. Maybe the bottle is different...

3.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very nice stout from Odell, wish they had more of this variety. I’d love to drink more of this in one setting

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle bought in Beets, Leith, Edinburgh. Very chocolatey - rather intensely so, but not sickly at all, just sweet and gorgeous. I wish it had been a bit more viscous for the full ’milkshake’ experience, but nonetheless a lovely beer, belying the quite high ABV.

flavour is dry chocolate with not the expected sweetness of a milk stout, bitterness and a long dry finish
overall a nice beer but there are better stouts out there

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home from Bottle Shop St Albans, split with Sarah. Dark black coloured pout with a lasting fine tan head. Some red hues. Aroma is sweet lactose milk sugars, miulk chocolate, some chocolate powder. Some toasted coconut and nuts on the nose as well. Palate is full bodied, moderate carbonation, semi sweet lactose. Flavour is cmooth milky chcolate, roast, some light berry fruits and raisin, lactose sugars. Very clean frement, hides that abv effortlessly. Really well integrated. Maybe a touch sweet.
