COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you’ve ever been to our brewery, you’ve likely seen the old, beat-up truck that hauls away our spent grain. That truck belongs to Lugene, who’s been feeding his dairy cows the hearty malt for over a decade. Named in his honor, Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout is brewed with milk sugar and milk chocolate. The rich and creamy brew reminds us of a cold glass of chocolate milk and our hometown "Aggie" roots.

Excellent beer. Smooth without being too sweet. Slight boozy aftertaste, but even with that and the chocolate it?s very drinkable. I might be biased since I still love chocolate milk in general, though. Pro tip: go with Nesquick, syrup over powder when possible.

12oz bottle, courtesy of Aaron. Thanks. Pours a deep, dark brown color with a thin tan head and some lacing. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, toast. Medium to heavy on the palate with soft, creamy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, maybe some anise, with a sweet, chocolatey finish. A nice sweet stout.

Chocolaty flavor and rich yoo hoo ish character. Toasty malt . I wanted to love this one, couldn’t though. The raw chocolate character was too dominant and singular. Full bodied and viscous.

This is a very nice beer. More and more breweries seem to be jumping on the milk stout bandwagon and its about time that someone added that chocolate. Has the nice, smooth, velvety mouthfeel you’d expect. Chocolate is rich and by far the most dominant flavor, but its pleasant.

Pours a thick black with a small tan head and not much lacing. Aroma is vanilla and dark chocolate. The flavor is very sweet with milk chocolate and coffee and no alcohol taste. Very good milk stout.

12 oz bottle. Pours super dark brown--almost black with a small tan head that collapses pretty fast, leaving a ring of foam. Aroma isn’t all that assertive, but it consists of dough, chocolate milk, coffee, bread. Taste starts out sweet before becoming bitter and lightly tart. Has notes of licorice. Slight alcohol burn in the finish. Fairly high carbonation with a silky mouthfeel. Tasty stuff.

12 oz bottle pours a pitch black with a thin tan head that doesn’t stick around. Aroma of mostly chocolate and light roast, with a bit of butyric in the background. Milk chocolate sweetness in the flavor, with some nice balance of roast and a smooth mouthfeel.

12 oz. bottle, sent from Perrin515 (thanks Patrick), pours black with a small tan / light brown head. Aroma is very milky, with milk chocolate, lactose, sugar and a bit of alcohol. Flavour is quite rich, full of liquified milk chocolate, lactose, and milk sugar. The milk chocolate is quite potent, rich and creamy, with a fairly thick mouthfeel. Very well-constructed with no harsh edges. Delicious stuff here.
