COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you’ve ever been to our brewery, you’ve likely seen the old, beat-up truck that hauls away our spent grain. That truck belongs to Lugene, who’s been feeding his dairy cows the hearty malt for over a decade. Named in his honor, Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout is brewed with milk sugar and milk chocolate. The rich and creamy brew reminds us of a cold glass of chocolate milk and our hometown "Aggie" roots.

Black. Not much head. Chocolately beer aroma. Milk beer.taste with chocloate. These choclate.milk stouts are just wearing thin as a beer idea.

Pours a dark black color with a tan head. Immediate aroma of chocolate and milk, impressive. Slight bitterness on the taste but the smoothness of the chocolate comes out. The milkiness is strong as well. Good milk stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Deep brown with a creamy light brown head. The aromas are definitely lactose and milk chocolate up front with an earthy hop and crackers. For as sweet as it smells, it is more dry in taste. Body is medium with finely carbonated feel.

Bottle. Poured a thick, syrupy goodness that is black. Little head. Chocolate and roasty in the nose. Lighter mouth feel than expected but still rather heavy. Great chocolate and smooth, residual sweetness. Smooth finish with a long chocolate finish. Overall great.

A perfect beer. Beautiful stout but not too roasty, metallic, or astringent. Milk sugars balance roastiness without tasting artificial. Perfect chocolate milk for adults.

IMHO, one of the BEST Chocolate Stouts on the market today! (granted, living in a rural community, not a TON of varieties to compare, BUT, this beer, for me HAS a LOT going for it! Pours out thick and slow with little tan-ish head that disappears quickly. On the nose, HEAVY cocoa with the stout as a backnote. On the TASTE however the EXACT opposite, the stout comes through, smooth and easy, the chocolate as a DELICIOUS after taste! Very smooth and not overwhelming at all with the alcohol. A definite favorite. Have been curious on cellaring a four pack for a couple years to see how it ages.....
