Just a perfect treat. Awesome hints of chocolate. Convinced to try this after a tour of the brewery. Great history behind this beer.

Aroma was Cadbury to a nose (no pun intended). Body was creamy with standard roasty cocao notes and mild sweetness. Couldn’t even taste the 8.5 percent
Another winner from odell.

Black pour with a large tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and chocolate milk. Taste of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate milk and a hint of vanilla. Full bodied and a beautiful creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden behind the sweetness. This beer is absolutely frigging delicious! AWESOME!!

Phenomenal brew, very drinkable but extremely complex. The lactose is just the right amount, always a faint hint of milk chocolate in the aroma and taste.

I got this, Third Street Sugar Shack Maple Stout and Kona Koko brown ale in the same night. This beer won. It almost reminded me of what Left Hand Milk Stout would taste like with chocolate, and hazelnuts. This drinks really easy and the alcohol is really well hidden. A treat for sure!

This is everything a chocolate milk stout should be! This deep, dark brown beer could count for a meal beginning with the slightly bitter chocolate aroma and finishing with a full-bodied, dark chocolate and malt drink that is so quenching it requires one to taste each sip individually to appreciate its complexity. Perhaps the best milk stout I’ve had. I actually appreciate its carbonation and the wee bitterness provided by the rich dark chocolate flavor (not artificial at all), for without it I would surely consume this too quickly and too often.

Have tried a couple chocolate stouts recently. Saw this in the store, didn’t get it, then saw it on tap when I went out for lunch with a friend. You really smell the chocolate, just like chocolate milk, at first, then the sweetness moderates and it finishes with a mild bitterness for a nice combination of tastes. Will have to pick some up soon as it is seasonal and goes out of production shortly.

From a 12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a tasting glass.
Aroma: Coffee, and very, very dark chocolate.
Appearance: Opaque dark brown.
Taste: Lots of espresso. More espresso than chocolate milk, really. Good stuff though.
Palate: Exceptionally smooth and creamy. The milk sugar really smooths this out. You have to try it to understand. This beer really is milky.
Overall: I was expecting a more milk chocolate flavor, but this is really espresso-heavy. It’s incredibly good though, and the flavors are wonderful, and the smoothness is mind-blowing.

Appearance - Opaque black, dark tan one finger head
Aroma - Chocolate, roasty notes, a hint of coffee
Taste - Sweet, milk chocolate, bittersweet cocoa, some alcohol as it warms up, but not overwhelming
Mouthfeel - Full-bodied, thick, chewy
Overall - A very tasty beer. I would definitely buy it again.

Draft at butcher & the boar. Milk chocolate in the nose. Opaque with a light brown head. Rich, chocolatety beer with a rich roasted malt finish. Really outstanding.
