COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named for Myrcene, a component of essential oils in the hop flower, Myrcenary Double IPA is our tribute to those who revere the illustrious hop, and their unyielding exploit to craft hop forward beers. Brewed with a blend of hops containing the highest levels of Myrcene, this double IPA prevails with a tropical fruit-like flavor, a pungent floral aroma, and a clean getaway.

Love the myrecenary. Sweet and hoppy. Pours golden. Fresh and crisp. Grapefruit on the nose. Well balanced.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber-gold with a high, lacy, large-grained, off-white head. Nose is a grapefruit-and-spruce bomb that can be detected across the room. Starts off sweet, then the hops kick in with a briefly anaesthetic punch of bitterness; the back of the tongue adds more malt for a well-balanced interplay of flavors. A bit under-carbonated. Long and warm finish. Quite good.

Tasted on tap and enjoyed on a relaxed evening outside. Slow to drink and developed flavor well as it warmed up. Sweet, hoppy, and powerful. - pixels sent via Beer Buddy on iOS

Location: Draft at Hay Merchant, 2/17/14

Aroma: This one has a fresh, hoppy nose, pretty resiny, with some citrus/grapefruit
Appearance: It has a caramel pour, a clear, beige head and leaves medium-plus lace
Flavor: The taste is the same component-wise, it has some sweetness and plenty of bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, creamy and soft, super drinkable, with a dry finish
Overall Impression: Drinks way to easy for 9.3% beer. Seriously, I felt like I was pounding this and it wasn’t intentional at all. It just drinks that nicely. Really enjoyed this one.

Draft - big grapefruit and pine with a bit if caramel. Clear copper with a rich head. Sweet, chalky and resinous. I have the feeling this is stale.

Aromas of caramel, honey, light tree bark, citrus, tropical fruit. Tasting notes of lemon/lime, tropical fruit, , light grapefruit, floral hops. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Juicy, slightly oily mouthfeel.

Bottled. Pours golden with thick, creamy off-white head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Flavor balanced between caramel and biscuit malt sweetness and citrusy/fruity hops. Notes of guava detected. Finishes aggressively bitter but not overly resinous. Sticky mouthfeel matches expectations of a double ipa.

Pours a nice golden color, great citrus, floral aroma. Taste is phenomenal and smooth. This is a high quality DIPA. Good smoothness and bitterness. A little sweet perhaps. This is a great one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Bonanno's. Medium-dark amber body and a thin white head. Rings of lacing tun down the pint glass. Very hoppy, bitter bite, but not as intense as say, a Stone Ruination. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
