Aroma - 8/10 - Tons of sweet citrusy hops, candied fruit, light pine. Appearance - 4/5 - Nice orange amber color that’s crystal clear with no real head on it (higher abv). Taste - 8/10 - Follows the aroma with lots of sweet candied fruit, citrusy hops, orange, grapefruit, lemon/lime, mango. Palate - 4/5 - light-medium, alc covered, aftertaste is citrusy hops and sweet malt Overall - 16/20 - Great double IPA, I can see why people like this one. I wouldn’t say it’s on the same level as beers like Pliny or Palate Wrecker, but good beer none-the-less.

Pours amber with a finger of head that later dissipates and produces some good lacing. Aroma is malty, honeycomb, caramel with undertones of resin, sap, tangerine, pineapple and mango. Taste is initially very sweet and reflects very much so the honey presence of aroma, this later makes way for a gorgeous blend of tropical and citrus fruit with just a smattering of muskiness. Finishes with a slightly dusty citrus peel bitterness that is enough to balance the beer but not enough to not make it quaffable.

Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Light haze on this golden coloured beer. Thin, filmy, white head. Chewy, toffee apple sweetness running through a grapefruit, light bitterness. Boozy warmth, but daft easy to drink for the ABV.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2014 Pours amber with a sparse white head. Some good lacing. Aroma is candied sweets, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, pine and a cloak of sweet caramel malt. Very nice. Taste is sweet tropical flavor, grapefruit with a grasping piney presence. More sweet caramel malt. Medium body, a little oily. Bitterness is fairly soft and fleeting. Its enjoyable but a tad generic and a little cloying.
