Poured from bottle which pours a nice golden color with a full offwhite head that leaves great lacing. Aroma of pine, fruit, citrus. Flavor is initially very bitter with notes of fruit and pine maybe a little grassy. Finish is an odd bitterness with maybe a little bit of alcohol kind of harsh. Mouthfeel is full, carbonation is full. Overall a decent beer.

12 oz bottle. Golden-copper color with a nice head and lacing. Nice clean floral aroma with light tropical fruitiness. Medium body with a smooth feel. Fruity and floral flavor with an odd finish. Medium bitterness and light malt sweetness. Pretty tasty.

UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 Bottle at home. Pours medium gold with fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy with some fruitiness (bottled two months prior). Taste is bitter, but quickly balanced - very little residual bitterness, leaving the mouth ready for more. More of an east coast feel to this - impressively put together - little to no booziness. Recommend.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Very bitter with just a touch of citrus and sweet malt for balance. Pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I’ve had this once before my beer Calender influenced me to try it again. I enjoyed its taste and texture. Odell is a great Brewer and this beer is a fine work of beer art.

Poured a 12oz btl to tulip glass. Color is a slightly hazy honey amber. Aroma is bright floral hops with candied fruit a gentle malt and slight alcohol background. In terms of taste this didn’t have the huge hop presence I expect in a DIPA. The mouthfeel was quite sticky and sweet as the brew warmed. I just had the one from a mixed 6 so I will have to revisit. I was expecting much more.

Bottle 03/08/13. Orangish gold color with off white head. Citrusy and hoppy aroma. Complex flavors starting with sweet citrus then light hops and some maltiness. Nice lacing. Has a sweet bitterness but is very smooth and flavor jumps in your mouth. Awesome balance. No alcohol aftertaste a plus. Excellent Double IPA. Don’t overlook abv-9.3%!
