3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle at iTap-Soulard. Pours a cloudy, bright golden color with an inch-thick, frothy, eggshell white head. Aroma of floral hops, pine, sweet malts, citrus peel, and pineapple. Flavor of oily hops, pine resin, citrus peel, sweet and pale malts, and floral notes. Medium-bodied, with soft carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts resinous and then is oily the rest of the way. Really nice, unique DIPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... Poured amberish/orange with a white head. Lots of nice bitterness here and strong hop flavors with loads of balance. Some malt in there creating a decent sweet backing and a nice clean finish. Some pine, tropical and passion fruits that meshed with citrus and peppery hop spices. Solid IIPA and the 10% abv was barely traceable.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aroma is citrus with considerable hoppiness. Appearance is a nice golden orange. Taste is a nice balance between sweet and hoppy. A bit resiny, but not too much. Same with the palate, well balanced but not overly syrupy like some doubles. Overall, very good offering.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours yellow/golden with a white head. Very light color for an IIPA. The aroma has lots of tropical fruits, juicy orange, pine and a ton of floral traits. Behind it is sweet maltiness with minimal toast and a cotton candy taste. Medium body with fairly soft carbonation. The taste starts of with an oily hoppiness thatís drier than the aroma with mango, floral and spicy traits and the malt presence is less prevalent than on the aroma. There is also a cracker taste to it. The finish is quite resiny and clean. This hides the alcohol very well and is dangerously drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
gold pour with a medium off white head.
aroma is strong fruity citrus and lighter pine tones.
caramel maltiness backing that.
flavour is reversed with the pine leading and the citrus backing it up.
sweet maltiness balances nicely with the bitterness and a slightly cardboardish earthy turn towards the finish.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Label states 9.3% ABV. 12oz bottle, best by 7/1/11, $9.99/4 pack at Beertopia. Clear amber with a one finger white head, pretty well-retained. Citrus nose that consists of a bit of orange and plenty of sweaty Cascade hops, of which Iím not really a fan, and some saltine cracker malts behind. Flavor is a little less Cascade dominant, and has stronger sweet orange hop notes. There is a little bit of honey sweetness, as well as the aforementioned cracker malts. Earthy bitter dry finish with bitterness peaking at a 6, warming alcohol down the throat. Medium body with creamy light to moderate carbonation. Pretty decent lacing down the glass. Woulda liked this one more if there werenít any Cascades, but then again, Iím whiney.
