3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle courtesy of ablackshear. Thanks! Pours a yellow-orange color with a thin white head and some lacing. Aroma is hoppy, citus, grapefruit. Medium body on the palate with light carbonation. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, citrus, with a light bitter finish. The alcohol is well hidden. Itís a decent DIPA, but I would like to see more of a malt backbone.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The beer pours golden orange amber with a decent light white head. The aroma is awesome - floral and citrus hops with a sweet note so pleasant. The flavor starts off with light citrus hops and then the smooth bitterness comes in to end nicely on the palate. The body is smooth with a nice balance of carbonation on it.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
#2200! Tasted 4/29/11. 12oz bottle. 8/16/11A, what ever that means...Pours filtered with a deep golden hue. A lively body and an off-white layer of head. Aromas of citrus candy and subtle hints of strawberries. A really nice sweet hoppy nose. Full bodied with a hop dominant palate. A nice mix of sweet, bitter and tart. Tangy and tingling effervescence adds a depth to the palate and mixes really well with the bitter hop flavors. Thereís a good amount of grapefruit bitterness, floral sweetness, spicy and resinous flavors in the hop bill. Similar in spirit to their IPA, which I love, but a much bigger all around brew! Very drinkable regardless of the ample alcohol content. The malts are toasty but very mild in comparison to the hops. This is just another reason why Iím such a huge fan of the Odell Brewing Company! This is truly tasty and very well crafted!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours clear vibrant orange gold with a medium sized beige head that fades leaving good lacing. Aroma of honey, sweet tropical fruit hops, viney and resinous hops, lots of citrus and hops in general. Taste is bitter but very well balanced, very solid DIPA, thick malt body, good strong bitter finish. Very juicy sweet, some alcohol is noticeable but not much. This stood up to and perhaps even surpassed the Ruination I just drank. And I swear it is leaving my tongue numb a few minutes after the initial finish. This reminds me of why I wish I was still in Ft Collins.

Thanks Tom .. . Pours a gold caramel, great low stern head .. . sweet whiffs of honey, resin, sap, and pine with leather and oil oil .. . clean cut and enjoyable .. . Sponges grow in the ocean. That just kills me. I wonder how much deeper the
ocean would be if that didnít happen.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
(12oz bottle). Pours hazy golden color with off-white head. There is some nice lacing and moderate carbonation. Aroma has citrus/grapefruit, some pine and a bit of tropical fruit. Taste has a nice sweet malt and a balanced hop bitterness to it. Medium to full bodied with an oily texture. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. This is a very nice balanced beer and the abv is hidden well.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nice golden hue with slight haze to it with a thick creamy head that sticks stubbornly to the sides leaving s nice cap throughout.
Whoa, the juicy citrus just jump out of the glass with pithy grapefruit, pineapple and, well, more grapefruit. Crisp, biscuity malts in the background that donít interfere much with the citrus onslaught.
The taste isnít quite the grapefruit bomb of the nose but the citrus is still dominant up front, taking on a sweeter more mango-like character. There is more malts than the aroma as well. The finish is bitter but not too astringent.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied with lots of carbonation and completely sticky with hop juice. Just coats the tongue with the juicy citrus.
This is a wonderful citrus-forward IPA and stands up to most West Coast IPAs out there. Thrilled to have a regular supply of this one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Served in a tulip.
Pour yields a peach-colored brew with a good white head with moderate retention. Good sticky lacing as it falls down the glass. The nose is really overpowering with an overload of tropical fruits, mostly mango with a bit of pineapple. Behind that, thereís a touch of citrus. The flavor is along the same lines--no malt, just plenty of hop character. The flavor isnít as strong as the nose would suggest, though still quite nice. Thereís a decent amount of bitterness in the background, as well as a bit of alcohol to balance. Not too bitter; the hop flavor seems to be the showcase here. Overall, a very nice beer that I will gladly have again.
